Audio: Adam Kokesh defends his smear of the Young America’s Foundation

Bryan touched on this yesterday but Kokesh is the guy known for wearing his cammies to anti-war protests in violation of military regulations, a protocol Kos once deemed “objectively un-American.” Two months after he wrote that, Sgt. David Aguina showed up in dress uniform at — ta da — Yearly Kos to defend the surge and was chewed out publicly by Jon Soltz for using the uniform as a political platform. I love karma.

Anyway, enjoy as he defends his arguably libelous false-flag smear of the Young America’s Foundation as a super-keen act of political courage, rejects the institutionalized racism of trying to build a democracy for Iraqis, and bristles at the tarring of Islamist fascists with the term “Islamofascism.” Oh, and he’s never heard of Ayaan Hirsi Ali, of course. Click the image to listen.

More (Bryan): Kokesh is quite the clown, as are his pal Brian “Black Bloc” Tierney and the “Reinstate (fake Indian, fake scholar and real plagiarist) Ward Churchill” petition-signing Lara Masri and Maxine Nwigwe. The GWU Slanderous Seven are turning out to have left quite the online paper trail of serious moonbattery.

YAF, by the way, is now demanding that they all be expelled from GWU. That is what the university’s president initially said that he supported doing to whoever was caught distributing the flyers. And, well, they’ve been caught.

Flower Power—

Does he drive a Beetle with a vase of plastic flowers in it?

Vanquisher on October 10, 2007 at 11:00 PM

Be right back. I’m thirsty and have gotten up the courage to go get a can of pop from the frig.

Before I go, however, I do want to say Kokesh should really know better than to use courage in so cavalier a manner.

Dusty on October 10, 2007 at 11:00 PM

Oh, puh-fracking-LEEZE. Smearing conservatives these days is about as courageous as brushing your teeth.

ZK on October 10, 2007 at 11:16 PM

Yeah. Lying about unpopular people in a clique-filled college campus.

Ooooh. Brave.

Not that leftists get the definitions of any other words right either.

Merovign on October 10, 2007 at 11:19 PM

Must be Dan Rathers version of courage

William Amos on October 10, 2007 at 11:20 PM

Nice pic of Tierney on his MySpace, standing in front of Trotsky’s grave.

Hannibal Smith on October 10, 2007 at 11:26 PM

this douchebag needs to be thrown in jail

Defector01 on October 10, 2007 at 11:28 PM

Does anyone have a link to the GSU President’s quote on intentions to expell whoever was caught distributing the flyers?

Thanks

dm60462 on October 10, 2007 at 11:36 PM

Like Murtha, I can’t believe this Commie douche was ever a Marine. I guess there just wasn’t enough raw material there to make a man out of.

ReubenJCogburn on October 10, 2007 at 11:40 PM

This wackjob objects to linking Islamofascists with Islam? The terrorists certainly consider themselves to “in” Islam.

T J Green on October 10, 2007 at 11:51 PM

You know what is truly stomach-churning about this?

Tuition at GWU: $37,000 a year.

Endowment at GWU: $1.15 billion. (That’s billion, with a “B”)

Let me tell you something: Even with every penny of scholarship money they could get, my kids — who are plenty smart, by the way — will never be able to afford to attend an elite private college like GW at $37,000 a year.

But don’t you dare criticize the precious darling leftists who run the place, or you’re guilty of “hate.”

FU, GW.

DUDE!

I know, I know, this isn’t the place for a post like this. But I am SO PROUD of my stupid little blog. I mean it is REALLY STUPID, but I’m actually fairly proud of it. But I got mentioned just before the ‘National Review’ blog when they were talking bad about one of my posts. DUDE! I am STOKED! I didn’t think anyone cared. Check this out!

BlogRevolution – Busted! – 2007/10/09
… and Wizbang, MyHealthInsuranceNews, National Review — hell, according to Google Blog Search tons o’ blogs have already posted about this. … Wizbang: . …

That’s ME, MyHealthInsuranceNews! HAHAHA! I set it up mostly as a spam blog at the beginning of the year. But I started blogging regular about a week ago. Now I’m in league with National Review! SWEET!

I don’t care that they didn’t like what I said. THIS IS COOL!

Sorry, nothing to see here. Carry on.

Funny thing is I may or may not have been involved in a similar flier prank in college. Although that prank involved a phony Hooter’s Wing Night in the Cafe sponsored by the Department of Women’s Studies.

liberrocky on October 11, 2007 at 12:03 AM

It’s easy for a loser to be successful. Call yourself a progressive and any lamebrain actions or ideas you come up with, that rattle the “establishment”, will be enthusiastically embraced by the brethren. Instant brave hero and a meteoric streak to greatness.

No need for truth. No need for valid debate. No need for fair play.

liberrocky on October 11, 2007 at 12:03 AM

Now that’s funny, I don’t care who you are. But you didn’t smear anybody by accusing them of racism, and you wouldn’t have patted yourself on the back for your “courage” if you’d gotten caught.

ReubenJCogburn on October 11, 2007 at 12:36 AM

The officials at GWU couldn’t even recognize satire.

That’s the most telling thing about this juvenile mess.

P.C. has corroded their faculties that throughly.

Admittedly, not very good satire.

But they knee-jerked right to “Expulsion!”

Demonstrating how shallow and hysterical they are.

And, ironically, they’ll have to fight their own little (ideological-soulmates) satirists in court.

Now that’ll be funny.

profitsbeard on October 11, 2007 at 12:47 AM

being I’m not a lawyer so I will ask and I am sure with all the wise and intelligent folks here on ha some body could answer this for me . Is there any civil violation that the YAF can bring against these commie tools like slander???

Mojack420 on October 11, 2007 at 12:49 AM

He never did answer the “Do you know Jesse McBeth”
question. This guy sounds like he wants to be the
J.Fing Kerry of the 21st century.

Funny you should mention Lurch.

We’ve seen this type of smear before.

Vic on October 11, 2007 at 2:05 AM

I wonder if Kokesh was bunkmates with Scott Thomas Beauchump.

They sure are coming out of the woodwork.

SilverStar830 on October 11, 2007 at 2:58 AM

Guys like that need to be serving brig time with real Marines who’ve been locked up for various infractions but still recognize the dictionary definition of words like courage. Then there’s the advanced version of the words that Marines know and that jerk obviously doesn’t. I wonder what kind of office job he faked shin-splints to get while the real patriots were replacing him on patrols, watches and posts… Punk…!

Rugged Individual on October 11, 2007 at 3:04 AM

I just want to see them expelled for no other reason than to watch the Kos Kids etc implode from rightous indignation.

Jim708 on October 11, 2007 at 5:37 AM

Yeah, they need to be expelled at the very least, to send a clear message. But, because GWU staff are lefties too, nothing will happen….

dogsoldier on October 11, 2007 at 7:08 AM

Where can I find this littel f*ckwhat?

leanright on October 11, 2007 at 7:19 AM

Where can I find this littel f*ckwhat?

leanright on October 11, 2007 at 7:19 AM

Why? To commit an act of violence against someone with whom you disagree?

I just want to see them expelled for no other reason than to watch the Kos Kids etc implode from rightous indignation.

Jim708 on October 11, 2007 at 5:37 AM

Good thing to see that your priorities are more about a pissing contest between Kos and conservative blogs. “if it makes the Kos kids mad it is a good thing” … how sophisticated! /sarc

Bradky on October 11, 2007 at 7:42 AM

Expelled and take away all their credits. Make them start all over again. Its only fair.

As someone whose military jobs have been for the most part in offices, I’m not thrilled with your characterization of my contribution to national defense as something negative and only for punks.

James on October 11, 2007 at 8:29 AM

I’m willing to bet that he has no problem accepting his monthly check from his GI bill benefits. I mean convictions only go so far.

SPIFF1669 on October 11, 2007 at 8:51 AM

It seems like Adam Kokesh suffers from John Kerry disease.

Zorro on October 11, 2007 at 9:02 AM

Why are there so many psycopaths in the left wing? Because people like Howard Dean, Harry Reid, George Soros cultivate rage to energize their constituency. Hate is the engine that drives the ‘progressive’ transformation.

Zorro on October 11, 2007 at 9:02 AM

Bad satire. Botched joke. Um, yeah. The left is so clever that they even figured out that Petraeus rhymes with ‘betray us’. No wonder Levin calls liberalism the ideology of the stupid.

pistolero on October 11, 2007 at 9:44 AM

I don’t see how GWU can’t respond. This is beyond obvious to any person that these 7 should be expelled. The only way this doesn’t happen is if conservatives do the usually giving up and giving in before even an attempt at holding them to strict standards. If we waged war like we do political defense, we’d be cut and runner democrats for Iraq as well.

I say don’t leave GWU until we’ve won. People write, talk, protest, make them explain the difference in standards between liberal and conservatives. Make them admit who they are. Then we can place academia in the category it currently belongs, that of strict partisan brainwashers of our youth. Funding colleges might get a different take if the American Taxpayer knew what they were paying for and parents might be a little pickier about where they send their kids to school.

GWU for graduate school can cost you $60,000.00 for a year. That’s a lot of money to spend for conservative bashing I would think.

No sir, I just want to talk him to death. Just like our forefathers talked the British into giving us our freedom. And not unlike when talked the Mexicans out of Texas and Cal.
We are two years away from turning this country completely socialist and you want to talk things out.
The teachers in this country are brainwashing our children by the millions and you sit on your duff preaching to the choir here at HA and your smug a$$ thinks your making a difference.
Don’t preach your philosophy to me, you have your opinion on whats to be done, allow others to have theirs.

leanright on October 11, 2007 at 6:26 PM

leanright on October 11, 2007 at 6:26 PM

So free speech can only be enjoyed by those who agree with you. the rest should be executed? Riiiight. Understand clearly now bucky.

Bradky on October 11, 2007 at 6:35 PM

Bradky on October 11, 2007 at 6:35 PM
Nobody denied you your right to free speech, I just said don’t preach to me.
You are making up arguments that don’t exist. So left of you, don’t you think?

leanright on October 11, 2007 at 6:49 PM

leanright on October 11, 2007 at 6:49 PM

And your opinion is that violence and anarchy are the solution to deal with the problem you described.

That is not just a difference of opinion. That is a law abiding citizen reminding another that as a citizen they should promote obeying the law.

Bradky on October 11, 2007 at 7:07 PM

Bradky on October 11, 2007 at 7:07 PM
I got ticked when you accused me of wanting to do something beyond what I was thinking. I’m thinking the kid needs to be bitch slapped and you accuse me of contemplating murder.
We are in a fight for the survival of our country, the fact that you can’t understand what that could lead to disturbs me.
We are under attack by the illegals, the muslims, and the socialist in this country, and you want to discuss the issues they have with us.
Our forefathers knew when talking was no longer enough, that action was the answer. I’m not preaching anarchy, but just talking is no longer the anwser either.

leanright on October 11, 2007 at 7:36 PM

leanright on October 11, 2007 at 7:36 PM

When you refer to

Just like our forefathers talked the British into giving us our freedom. And not unlike when talked the Mexicans out of Texas and Cal.

your meaning is not hard to miss.

You and I have different views of being “under attack”. As for the socialism you mention, this is a voting issue. We didn’t break away from the British because of socialism.
