Liberals want government "thought control". They're busy implementing it via "hate crime" legislation, and now Congressional "speech police"! Bring back the old days when all we had was the Taliban.

Boy, that was some rebuttal Bradsky (sic). You could have been on the Elizabeth NJ School of Beauty debating team with skills like that.

Rep. Waxman is aptly named, he looks just like one of Madam Trousseau's figurines in meltdown.

He is also a prime candidate for Rhinoplasty. Because his brain is getting to much oxygenated blood and the affects or normoxia are apparently impacting his disorientation and ability to remain in touch with reality.

You nailed it, georgej. Hillary will bring out Republicans who haven't voted in years, because she rightly scares the sh+t out of any conservative, populist, libertarian, or Republican ( RHINO or otherwise )

Mush-mouth trolls like Bradky and MB4, who ruin about one thread per day here, will never realize or admit that their One True Love ( the Democrats ) has become increasingly a force for genuine evil in this nation, and will do serious harm if in contrl of the executive branch. There is a Stalinist streak in the Dem Party which grows wider every week, and Hillary is Stalin in a Pantsuit, mouthing focus-grouped versions of Joe's slogans and sharing his ideals regarding thr centralization of power.

If that woman, crazed by anger and resentment and inherently cursed by her many other demons, obtains executive power and has a Dem Congress to do her bidding, it will be time for civil war in this country--or something very close to it

....and fools like Bradky and MB4 will still be shilling for her when their doors get kicked down.....

"There were close to 120 million votes cast in 2004."

So?

~60 million, Republican
~56 million, Democrat

According to Politico and "snapping turtle," Iraq IS NOT going to be the issue for 2008.

"The Democrat party political investment in losing Iraq is so heavy that they can't reverse course in time for 2008. Iraq has to still look bad by then or they're in trouble which is why you see Harry Reid saying such imprudent things." [TM Lutas]

"With few Iraq votes expected in the next several weeks — a marked departure from the first nine months of the new Democratic-controlled Congress — Democrats are trying to build an agenda that’s heavy on health care, community policing, housing, tax reform and other issues." [Martin Kady II]

Without Iraq (thanks to the Petraeus plan), what do the Democrats have? An economy running hot and sweet, despite a bump in housing? Full or near full employment for the 49th consequetive month? Very low inflation, and very low, if not historically low, interest rates. I got news for you -- THOSE ARE REPUBLICAN ISSUES.

And since the name George W. Bush is NOT going to be ont he ballot, what do the nutroots have left? Nothing.

The nutroots number 19% of Democrats, who think that it is best for America to lose the war in Iraq, are maybe 12 million voters. Your pals at MoveOn.org are screaming their lungs out that (1) 22 Democrats voted to condemn MoveOn.org, which passed by an overwhelming majority in both houses, (2) the Democrats have essentially tabled the Hush-Rush resolution, (3) Only 41 Democratic Senators (not all 50+1) signed the letter to Clear Channel's CEO -- who promptly told them to get f*cked -- (4) they can't kill Iraq war funding NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO, and (5) Hillary (who voted for the war and who they know is going to go to the middle after SuperTues), will ignore them.

Eli Pariser boasted that MoveOn.org and the left OWN the Democrats. Unfortunately, the Betray-us Ad that failed to convince the public that we aren't winning, and failure to hush Rush is more than an embarrassment to him.

Worse, beyond calling a 4 star general with 9 rows of medals on his chest a TRAITOR and a LIAR, their allies at CodePink vandalized a USMC recruitment office calling the Marines traitors, their fellow travellers at Oakland humiliated several planeloads of US Marines flying through to Hawaii by refusing them the use of the terminals, their attempts to (1) ban the Blue Angels and (2) ban the Marines from shooting a commercial in San Francisco, AND the vadalizism of the Vietnam Wall Memorial, THEY HAVE ANGERED MANY "moderates" many of whom are reevaluating their position on who they'll vote for in 2008 as a result.

Also, watch for a 3rd Party "Leftist" candidate to run (Calling Ralph Nader, Calling Ralph Nader) because the Democrats can't or won't give them what they want - a loss in Iraq - and then watch a majority or significant minority of the nutroots voting 3rd party instead of Democrat.

Those 35 million voters fired up by talk radio will not only give whomever the Republicans nominate (despite threats by clowns like Dobson to sit out the election) the White House, BUT will lead a sweep of nominally Republican House districts currently held by a 1 or 2 term Democrat, and similar senate seats.

There won't be a Democratic Landslide in 2008 if the Republicans begin their advertising NOW and if talk radio begins denouncing the Democrats now. In fact, the Republicans just might take back both the House and the Senate and retain the White House.

Now as for you Mr. Bradky: "Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." Samuel Adams. Go back and play in traffic, troll.

Just listened to Levin!! Fantastic!! Every Republican in congress should be out there saying the same thing!!! This is a blatant attack on the American people to shut us up! To intimidate us! To tell us we will pay if we think differently than them,, speak out in support of the wrong policies! Every American should be taking this personally! If they succeed at destroying talk radio,, they will not stop there! The line in the sand could never be any clearer!! I thought Hillary Clinton screamed awhile back into some microphone somewhere that it was patriotic and a right to disagree with any administration! Just don't disagree with congress! Oh yeah,, of course,, I remember though, that Bill Clinton said in his first address that "true patriots will agree with his plan." So,, bill said true patriots agree with the president,, Hillary says they don't! Go figure!

Levin was beautiful tonight. He ripped Waxman a new one. Go to his web-site and download today's show. http://www.marklevinshow.com/audio.php The choice quote is right after he lays out the definition (from Wikipedia) of tortious intereference, which basically prevents third parties from mucking around in the contractual relationships between two original parties. Then he really gets going--"If some small minded, small statured leftist politician from Hollywood, tries to bang heads in the government to influence this program, to undermine this program, to interfere with my private contract, I will sue your ass, and I will sue you for millions of dollars. And your staffers. You got that? Because you're not protected by your speech and debate clause when you go out of your legislative function for the purpose of targeting somebody. And I will pursue discovery, where I get to issue subpoenas, too." Listen to the first 12 minutes. PRICELESS!!!!!

Good for you. I think we need a few million more to actually go to DC and let them know - in person. Unfortunately, most people are sheep.

It is not a matter of believing it or not. They can't. You are being paranoid if you think the fairness doctrine is going to regulate the satellite dish on your house.

Well,,, I used to wonder when I was little how these dictators came to power. I was surprised when I learned that Hitler and the Nazi's were actually voted into office. That was a real learning moment for me and more than a little comforting. It seems like every day I turn on the radio or check the news sites and it is just one more threat on our liberties,, one after another after another! It goes on and on. The silence on the Republican side continues to be deafening! And now with the Dems openly threatening to monitor and investigate private citizens for expressing the wrong political opinions,,, well,, there really isn't much wondering left as to where we are headed. How long before, or how much of a stretch is it for them to monitor and investigate the blogs and posts like this one,, monitor and investigate letters to the editor,, the opinions are all the same,, so,, I am actually now thinking to myself,, am I willing to go to jail
for my beliefs? Here I am in America,,, of all places,,, never ever thought I would be thinking like this,,, asking myself these kinds of questions. There have always been marxists and nutcases,, but there has always been voices of reason out there within our government. So I still ask,,, where are the Republicans?? Where are our glorious representatives and Senators within government speaking out in defense of the nation??? This is way bigger than talk radio! This is a direct attack on the American people by our own Senators and representatives!!! Liars and thieves, disguised as Senators and politicians fattened with the spoils of freedom and liberty they have stolen from us! They hunger and gorge themselves on the liberties they steal and eat like hot sweet bread! They are so fat from stuffing themselves with the bread of our our freedoms their asses hang down both sides of the thrones they think they sit on, while droll drips down their chins as they scream "Bring more bread!" They spit daily on the flag,, spit daily on our liberties,, spit daily on our property and spit daily on each and every one of the American people! If they missed a day of spitting on something good about America or the American people it would be akin to an Islamo fascist missing the call to prayer!

I know this is a long rant,,, I do not ever intend to take up so much space,, but in answer to the question,, yes! I will go to jail if it means being an American!! I will go to jail if it means being a Christian!! I do not want to go to jail! But I will not stop being either an American or a Christian!! I will not shut up and change my views! Since I am a Christian, even at times like this,, it is not right to use profanity,, so it will not be right to stand here alone in my room and raise my holy middle finger in the direction of the Dems in Washington and the investigative committees,, so,, I shake my holy fist instead! I shake it at the Dems, standing facing DC,, and I will shake it until they take the fist from my hand! Rant finished!!

The brownshirts are coming! The brownshirts are coming!

I double dog arse dare Commissar Waxman to actually do what he says. If he does, by next year at this time the topic of the day will be Freedom of Speech!

Rush's daily newsletter says:
<blockquote>Henry Waxman will now use government money to do what Media Matters does.</blockquote>

<blockquote>The US has no authority over satellites owned by other countries — that is why.

Bradky on October 8, 2007 at 4:09 PM</blockquote>

But they control the receiving stations they come into. Believe me, they could regulate it tomorrow if they wanted to. Just because they have not got around to it yet, because satellite radio is relatively new doesn't mean they can't do it in the future. And if you don't believe that... then fine.

"Many of you are well enough off that [President Bush's] tax cuts may
have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track,
we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to have to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
