Are you talking about Richard Dawkins and his campaign of ridicule? I know that Hirsi Ali is an atheist now, but I’m not aware that she is waging a campaign against Christians or Christiantiy. It seems to me that those are two entirely different things.

Or am I mistaken about Ali?

While statistics do show that Christians give more to charity than atheists, why wouldn’t Christians take up Hirsi Ali’s cause?

I’m sure there are some who would (less than 1-2 percent of regular Christian donators), regardless of her generally anti-religious stance (she’s made some very direct and blunt criticisms of religion). The campaign aimed at Christians would be very hot: with many established Christian organizations coming out against it. Really, there’s not much precedent here that I’m aware of, in terms of the vast majority of Protestant fundraising campaigns.

It is apparent the Dutch prefer to cheerfully continue and perhaps increase their penance in the form of Politically Correct jizya handouts that encourage the ever increasing demographic jihad – and the related intentional refusal to assimilate – a self inflicted wound/eventual suicide.

Aayan, at this time, it is imperative that you are aware that you are very much appreciated and you are not only welcome here in the USA, but directly in my home with my family. I will not stand down in fear of this enemy. You have taught me and legions more how important that is.

If Mrs. Ali were a Christian, I myself (having experience developing major donors for Christian organizations) could probably find the people who would pay for her security.

Unfortunately, and I don’t intend this as a barb, atheists tend not to donate nearly as much to their cause as do religionists. Also a double whammy: many atheists in America seem to be giving Islam a free-pass.

I don’t think that this is fair at all. There is a Catholic/liberal Christian/Unitarian/liberal atheist block that gives Islam and illegal immigration a free pass in the name of “social justice”. However, many atheists like myself see “social justice” for the BS that it is. My atheism is far closer to conservative Christianity (though not fundamentalist Christianity) than it is to any Church of Christ (Obama’s denomination).

It’s really high time for someone to start a nonprofit to pay for security for people like her and Rushdie.
