I was about 95% on the way to buying a wii before watching this.

The bowling game is pretty lame, but wii is awesome. I’m addicted to the boxing game.

In my day, we didn’t have all these new-fangled gizmoes and doo-dads when we played video games. In my day, the only things we had on our controllers were a clunky joystick and a single button, and the controller was blocky, so that we’d get blisters just from touching it, and the in-game graphics were vague monochrome squares, and that’s the way it was, and we LIKED it!

I can’t decide if the story here is video games helping the elderly to stay active or the NFL Films-ish production quality that Erickson is busting out for leisurely nonsense like this.

They're trying to build an audience for the upcoming Indy IV tie-in game: Indiana Jones and How the Hell Do You Work This Damn Thing? for Wii.

I’ve always said, playing Madden doesn’t make you Peyton Manning, and being good at Guitar Hero doesn’t make you Yngwie Malmsteen. I guess I have to say that playing Wii bowling doesn’t make you Marshall Holman.
