Unfortunately Loundry, you don’t get luxury of not being identified with them since you are in the minority. It’s like me as a conservative Christian black man not identifying with the “hip hop” culture.

With that comment, I feel a kinship with you that surprises me. I will admit to you that I have been subjected to the worst sort of hate from liberal gays because of my rejection of “gay culture”. I mean, it’s shocking how much they hate my guts. They call me things like “Stepford gay” and “suburban housewife”.

I think it’s a shame that people are pressured to conform to the self-destructive tenets of thug culture and gay culture. The beliefs and attitudes that are conferred by those cultures are harmful to the people who adhere to them. I admire your bravery.

This is why I, as a gay man, hate and despise “gay culture”.

So there are freaky S&M gay people. There are also freaky S&M straight people. All sorts of people have all sorts of sexual practices that I find revolting (such as vaginal sex, for instance). So what? As long as they’re not depriving any other individual of life, liberty, or property, then let them do as they will.

What angers me is that proponents of “gay culture” state that being “gay” means enthusiastically embracing the extreme exhibition of any sexual fetish, particularly and especially if it irritates straight Christians. Then I get blamed for this and get accused of wanting this simply because I am gay.

I do hope that there are some conservatives here who realize that not all gay people are into this “gay culture” excrement.

I completely agree. What goes on behind your closed doors is none of my business–and I don’t want to know, anyhow.

But on another note, it WOULDN’T be a heterosexual display, as it never would have happened if it was for heteros. Too many of the sickos that were at this thing would have been first in line to picket the city/state government to STOP a freakshow like this, if it were hetero.

What’s good for the goose is never good for the gander. Especially when it comes to things like this.

These people are allowed to foster and adopt innocent little children. Which “professionals” make decisions of this nature and why do we, as a society allow it? It’s frightening because we all sit around and talk about this behavior and are disgusted and horrified but precious little innocent and malleable children are being handed off to homosexuals. Political correctness and this sort of social experimentation and debauchery will do its part to destroy this great nation.

I agree that it’s certainly not representative of most gays I’ve been acquainted with in my life, who are just people who are more or less normal (whatever normal is). But the gay community will never be taken seriously if this is the kind of image that is presented publicly. Mr. and Mrs. Average American are disgusted by this exhibitionist crap.

Yes, they’re pathetic freaks. Yes, I feel the same revulsion. But like I said at the top of this thread, this is not representative of gays.

The mainstream gay agenda, of which you speak, is simply a vocal minority. Most gays don’t flaunt the fact. We’re your average guys next door.

Don’t feel sorry for me, feel sorry for the pathetic freaks on the streets of San Francisco in those pictures. That’s where the problem lies. My reaction to it is just natural revulsion.

You really couldn’t be more wrong.

No….this is not what the “gay agenda” (whatever that is) is all about.

You allow gay marriage, which will be the official U.S. government seal of approval on the gay lifestyle and you won’t be able to stop them from being Boy Scout leaders or Girl Scout leaders or stop them from being church leaders without being sued out of your panties.

Or maybe even worse, if they get hate-crime laws passed, you won’t even be allowed to verbally object without criminal penalties. And don’t even think about saying that homosexuality is a sin in a public forum, you will be locked up or at least be going to re-education camp sensitivity training. Is anyone starting to understand why stopping gay marriage is so important ?
