Mahmoud whines: They’re making me out to be like bin Laden

Would you like some cheese, Mahdi boy?

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday blamed some circles within the United States of putting him in the same boat as the head of the terrorist network al-Qaeda Osama bin Laden.

“Some US circles wanted to sabotage my trip to New York by for example putting my picture next to bin Laden,” Ahmadinejad told the news network Khabar.

You mean, like this?

mahmoud-binladen.jpg

We compare you to bin Laden because you’re like bin Laden, but with the potential to build your own nukes.

Ahmadinejad also blamed the US government and New York City officials for rejecting his request to visit the site of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

“All I wanted to do was pay my respect and tribute at the site to the victims but this simple request was rejected,” he said.

Right. So that he could then turn and use photos of him laying a wreath at Ground Zero and say “See, here’s proof that I’m just a harmless kind of guy. I even pay honor to the American victims of terrorism!”

But then he let the mask slip a little bit too far.

Ahmadinejad compared the status of September 11 to the Holocaust, saying that both issues were used against the Islamic world.

Since he’s a Holocaust denier, doesn’t this comparison make him a Truther too?

Update: Yeah, I could go along with this.

I would have let Ahmadamsterdam visit Ground Zero, but I would have given him the perspective of a victim by pinning him under eight tons of granite.

Blowback

Yea, he wants to be so much “greater” than bin Laden.

This guy is nuts. Plain and simple. He is one of those barely educated jihadi freaks who has risen to power on the backs of those even more ignorant. He has willingly been a part of the brainwashing cult that took over Iran in the 70′s.

Yep.

And in the facts that both want to eliminate the Zionists and usher in the next Islamic caliphate, and you’ve got match made in heaven with 144 virgins.

Hasn’t he already embraced trutherism? Quite a while ago, I believe.

Quick! Somebody call the waaaahmbulance! What a tool. I hope that those who supported his “rights” to go where he wanted and do what he wanted now understand that this jackass will use everything against us. Better just to marginalize him in public (as Bush does), while working behind the scenes to neutralize his threats (as I hope Bush is doing). Nothing upsets a bully more than to be blown off and ignored.

Oh….and I think both of them don’t like teh gheys, too.

Dr.Cwac.Cwac on October 3, 2007 at 10:03 AM

How could both he and Bin Laden so misunderstand the “great” (according to a recent Conressional resolution) and “peaceful” (according to Bush and new signs plastered on the sides of British double-decker buses) “religion” of Islam?

Could there be something in the Koran open for such egregious misunderstanding?

“…kill the unbelieveres wherever you find them…” [Sura 9:5).

Nah.

I’m surprised he complained about his photo being juxtaposed with bin Laden’s and not what was done with that picture of Kermit.

Whatever it was…I know all about bin Laden and Bert, but the Kermit thing is new to me.

So, basically, he’s saying “I’m not in a jihad. I have never been in a jihad.”

I (don’t) wonder how wide his stance is?

Ahmadinejad has promised us a few more surprises this October 10th, 11th and 12th.

Iran has promised a devastating “final response” to supporters of the Jewish State on October 12, the Islamic Republic’s Quds (Jerusalem) Day.

“Supporters of the Zionist regime will receive their response during the world Quds Day’s rallies,” Iranian government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham said at a weekly press conference Wednesday.

Quds Day is held each year on the last Friday of the Islamic month of Ramadan. It was instituted in 1979, following the Islamic revolution by Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini.

To compare Mahmoud to OBL is simply inaccurate. OBL is much taller and better groomed.

I liked this bit:

“All I wanted to do was pay my respect and tribute at the site to the victims but this simple request was rejected,” he said.

The truth, of course is Mahmoud wanted to go there to “celebrate” the terrorists, not mourn the victims. Had NYC allowed the little terrorist bastard the opportunity to visit he would have given a thumbs up to the camera.

Is he really a Holocaust denier? I’m getting the impresson that he’s just supporting holocaust deniers to rub the lack of freedom of speech on that issue in Europe’s face but I’m not particularly familiar with his beliefs on it.

“All I wanted to do was pay my respect and tribute at the site to the victims but this simple request was rejected,” he said.

“All I wanted to do was hawk a loogie I’d been saving all morning down into the pit on all those incinerated infidels.”

I believe he wanted to pay his respect……But only to the 10 hijackers that died…..

“All I wanted to do was pay my respect and tribute at the site to the victims but this simple request was rejected,” he said.

I remember reading a quoted statement from him before his Columbia visit, maybe from his 60 Minutes interview, where he said he wanted to visit the site to honor those that died that day and discuss the reasons that it happened. So he wanted to use the visit to preach to us about how we brought it on ourselves.

“They’re making me out to be like bin Laden”–I think when Mahmoud says this, he’s supposed to add a Seinfeldian “NTTAWT!”
