Zorkot update: New details of his arrest

posted at 8:01 am on September 30, 2007 by Bryan

All very interesting.

According to documents obtained by the Press & Guide under the Freedom of Information Act, Zorkot was arrested about 8:04 p.m. Sept. 8 after police were contacted by three men who saw him carrying a firearm in the north end of Hemlock Park between Schaefer and Oakman.

Zorkot was allegedly dressed in dark clothing and wearing black face paint when officers approached his 2007 Ford Explorer, which was parked in a space near the tree line in the park’s west lot. The vehicle was already running, police said.

Officers approached the vehicle, which proceeded to pull out of the parking space and head northbound toward the park’s entrance. Police were able to block the vehicle in before it was able to leave the park.

When approached by officers, Zorkot opened the driver’s side door, but remained in the vehicle. He then asked officers why they had stopped him and said, “You guys are always harassing me.”

During the confrontation, officers saw Zorkot lower his right hand toward the center console, which was out of view. According to police reports, officers feared Zorkot was reaching for a weapon and grabbed his left wrist while ordering him to exit the vehicle.

An officer at the scene observed the AK-47 in the vehicle’s back seat, and alerted her fellow officers that he was armed. Zorkot was then forcibly removed from the vehicle through the driver’s side door — although he initially refused to let go of the door.

When he refused to release the door, officers struck Zorkot’s arm once with a plastic flashlight; however, he still refused to let go.

Officers used a Taser, which struck Zorkot between his shoulder blades. The electrical jolt caused him to fall to the ground, where he began rolling back and forth while yelling “Ali Ackbed.”

When Zorkot refused to comply with officers’ orders, he was stunned again and taken into custody. As police placed him into the back of a patrol vehicle, he allegedly said: “You think this is over? This is not over.”

The “Ali Ackbed” is probably a misheard “Allahu akbar.” Police haven’t connected him directly to Hezbollah or any other terrorist group yet, but it’s obvious that he’s at least a sympathizer

Unfortunately he is correct in his assessment of this not being over. The report in IBD may wake some people up but there are still alot of sleepers on both sides, the ones waiting to attack on the enemy side and the ones who refuse to see it on “our” side.

“Ali Ackbed!”

Your arabian moon god can’t save you from Taseria, the American god of electricity!

Dark clothing, black face paint, an AK-47.

Oh these crazy kids! Always having so much fun!
He’s a freakin’ jihadi, send his &ss to Gitmo.

“This is not over.”

Translation: “My jihadi brothers are coming to kill you, infidel.”

Who let this character into the country?

Texas Nick 77 on September 30, 2007 at 8:42 AM

Everytime the police foil an attack, it keeps America in its sense of denial, and gives the leftist press more ammo to say that, “See, nothing happened. 6 years and no further attacks. There is no REAL terrorist threat, much less islamic threat.

9/11 woke a lot of people up. Just not nearly enough. In the meantime, subsequently, sharia continues apace. The islamist are trying to show America that we are under attack. But the authorities are doing their darn best, inadvertently, to stop that message from getting out, and the media therefore can do its best to say, there is nothing to see here. Foiling these attacks helps sharia to creep that much further.

“Don’t tase me, Joo.”

(Someone had to say it.)

Niko on September 30, 2007 at 9:00 AM

No no no, couldn’t have been “Allahu akbar” meaning Allah, specifically the Muslim god is greatest. It’s basically a proclamation of Muslim supremecy, like someone shouting “White Power!” while being arrested.

Clearly he was saying “Ali Ackbed”, which translates to “you do not understand my satire!”

trubble on September 30, 2007 at 9:31 AM

We have to look at the source of muslim anger towards us. It’s because we don’t welcome them into this country. Thus, we must open our borders to muslims and anyone else who wishes to come here and we will be safe.

Ali Ackbed

It sounds like “Allie MacBeal.” This was probably just some misguided attempt to get his favorite show back on the air. Jihad is an internal struggle, for crying out loud.

And tell me Mr. Gerald J. Gleeson II [Zorkot's attorney] the difference between competency to stand trial, the “insanity” defense, and a true believer in the jihad.

Ali Ackbed is arabic for “allah has sh!t the bed”, a common expression uttered by ‘slumtards when caught at something.

Interesting article, bbz123. I’d like to see many more articles and news reports contrasting what the islamics say to us contrasted to what they say to their faithful.

People need to realize that they are very much at war with us, and are perfectly willing to let the process of assimilation and subjugation happen slowly over whatever time period is needed.

It’s a slow but steadily creeping ideological cancer and we need to fight and resist and excise it.

The only time I remember putting war paint on was during combat survival training and the objective was not to be seen or get captured by the aggressor team. I guess this idiot does not understand the objective of being stealthy and screaming to the moon god doesn’t help either. What a moron! Hope they keep him off the streets for a very long time.

It’s sorta like a two-edged sword…. but mostly one-edged.

I disagree with you, mostly, simply because the pale-faced, ass kissing, gnome brained crowd, never learns.

Rather, I believe catching the terrorist – before they succeed in dying for jihad – is more effective because it is the absolute last thing, the jihadis want to happen.

Take the failed bomber in Scotland who is now in the hospital suffering from 3rd degree burns on 90% of his body… that is experiencing hell for the jihadis, which is the antithesis to being successful – as in 9-11 – and rejoicing in Allah’s blessing.
.

If it’s Allah’s blessing when they succeed… what is it when they fail?
Well certainly they (the jihaidi’s) must conclude, that they are doing something wrong.

Which works in our favor because it results in paralysis-by-analysis, and therefore, less successful momentum in their attempts.

But of course, Surprise! Surprise!…. it could also just be that Allah is running out of virgins.

“See, nothing happened. 6 years and no further attacks. There is no REAL terrorist threat, much less islamic threat.”jihadwatcher on September 30, 2007

Very true,, and if there is another attack, all the nutcases and Democrats, I guess one and the same, will blame Bush! They are ready and waiting, I am sure, to say Bush should have prevented it and/or Bush was behind it to help the election.
The problem with nutcases and Democrats, one and the same I realize, getting traction out of wild accusations, is that they are never challenged except on talk radio and blogs. We have lacked solid consistent conservative/American Republican leadership. The Dems have been living in a time of liberal prosperity, though they may not realize it. Reagan was a lone voice, yet he did so much. He did it without talk radio and blogs. The Dems hate Rush and all the other conservative radio shows, and they hate the blogs. But,, it has still been a time of accomplishing much for them. Should a clear strong Reagan like leader emerge,, one solid in principle, persuasive in speech, a true conservative leader, who, like Reagan,, knew how to bring the fight to the liberals doorstep, while rallying the whole party, waking it like the sleeping giant it is,, their world would cave in around them. It would suddenly be like a two front war was thrust upon them. They would not know what to do. They would long for the days of Bush and having to deal only with blogs and talk radio. In fact, some may even long for the days of Reagan. But,, a Reagan like leader AND TALK RADIO AND BLOGS?? That is also why they know they must silence not just talk radio, but the internet as well, before another Reagan shows up. It would only take one solid conservative President to doom their party for years to come. One conservative President educating the American people and leading a conservative movement hand in hand WITH talk radio and the blogs. It would be liberals perfect storm! Reagan accomplished so much,, but would he have gotten away with a Sandra Day O’Connor appointment if talk radio and the blogs were around?? I don’t think so. The world has not yet seen what a true conservative leader can accomplish working in close touch and in tune with the voice of the American people, which talk radio and the internet provides.

So what’s with the VCR cassette of “The Never Ending Story” they recovered from the vehicle with all the other contraband?

They wear our clothes, watch our movies, eat our food, drive our cars, etc, but yet they hate us so much. If America was the greatest evil, then EVERYTHING American or Western would be banned under Islam. Just like “western style” hiarcuts being banned in Iran.

Lock this guy up and forget about him. Lose the key too.

Thanks for the link:

One of the men arrested in connection with the failed June 30 car bomb attack at Glasgow Airport died in hospital yesterday, a police spokesman said. Kafeel Ahmed, 27, suffered 90 percent burns to his body after apparently setting himself on fire during the attack at Scotland’s biggest airport, which came a day after a linked failed incident in London.

And the worst thing is… there were no virgins leftover for him when he got there.

Life is rough…life is very rough for the terrorists.
