Bubba gets testy

Here’s the clip:

Dean Barnett takes a good swing at it, for a Sox fan.

In the YouTube above, Clinton conflates the attacks on General David Petraeus with the former POTUS’ fanciful reminisces of political attacks on John Kerry and Max Cleland. Normally, I question Bill Clinton’s sincerity any time his lips are moving, but in this clip he shows that little flash of indignant anger that indicates you’re getting a glimpse at the man’s core.

Of course he would see no difference between a couple of office-seekers and a man who is leading 160,000 American soldiers in combat. Everything for this man has always been about politics. The notion of a figure who transcends politics probably makes as much sense to Bill Clinton as the idea of a man who transcends gravity.

Exactly so. Not to mention the fact that the Swifties were themselves smeared by Kerry and his Winter Soldier ilk in 1971 and forever thereafter as savages who reminded him of Jenjis Khan. And never mind the fact that their stories about Kerry remain unrefuted, and Lurch still hasn’t released his records.

The MoveOn attack on Petraeus ought to disgust every American who respects the military. Having served in the military during Clinton’s tenure, I’m not surprised in the least that the “Betray Us” attack did not disgust Wild Bill.

Slick Willy has never supported the military nor will Hillary. At a time of war and with all the terrorism in the world, I shudder to think of them in the White House again.

That’s ol’ Slackjaw, in a nutshell.

But, remember - he’s married to Hillary Clinton, and that is a level of hell never contemplated by Dante. So, as always, justice does prevail.

OhEssYouCowboys on September 27, 2007 at 3:56 PM

You want to get down in the mud Bubba? Try this on for size. Cleland was a wet behind the ears 2nd LT who lost his limbs when a grneade he was carrying was not properly attached thereby falling between his legs and causing the injuries he sustained. Maybe Slick Willie can tell me who MSG Shugart and SRC Gordon are. Hint think Blackhawk Down.
As for Kerry, here is a soldier who got his 3 Purple Hearts the old fashioned way, you know actually getting shot. He didn’t leave the battlefield or his buddies.
So let’s get it on Bubba.

Remember when redneck was supposed to be offensive. It made a millionaire out of Jeff Foxworthy and lost every bit of sting as a derogatory word in the process. It’s all in the telling, folks. Outrage over Osama being used in an ad going after Cleland, silence in Osama being used in an ad in Iowa that was bought and paid for by a democrat.

Cleland Served in Vietnam and suffered a sever non-combat injury and we thank him for his Service. Other than that, he’s just another liberal that deserved the criticism he received during the campaign. Kerry wasn’t in Vietnam long enough to qualify for R&R. He spent 4 months in country mining for bogus medals then trotted his butt back to the States. He’s as phony as a $3 bill and both his contemporaries and superiors knew it. On the other hand, neither were draft dodgers like their buddy Bill.

So the two examples cited by Clinton in the clip above are supposed to be on the same level (or worse than) the “BetrayUs” ad?
That’s what he’s implying - are those the two best examples he can come up with? Kerry’s fellow vets - eyewitnesses he never has refuted - and an ad that attacked Cleland with nothing more than his own voting record in the Senate? Pathetic!

He would have found much better examples in the actions of his own despicable party.
How about we ask Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas, Sam Alito (and Mrs. Alito - they made her cry, remember?), Tom Delay…uh, who else - oh yeah! Scooter Libby, President Bush, Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, John Bolton….

Gregor on September 27, 2007 at 4:46 PM

I’m sitting here getting pissed. Notice how Clinton, and now that I think of it, all the liberals who complain about how unfair the Cleland ad was, always frame it in terms of, “Showing that ad, with Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein,” leaving the impression that it was COMPARING Cleland with those two? When it does nothing of the sort? But the way they frame it, they can leave that impression without being caught in an out and out lie. Disgusting.

And they also always say, “Swift Boat Veterans.” Never “Swift Vets and POWs for Truth.” Wouldn’t want to remind people that POWs and great American heroes like Bud Day also though Kerry was a slimy little douchebag.

Bill Clinton calls the Swiftboat Veterans (including a Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient) “ignorant and blatant liars” for the ‘nth time. And in the same breath, he accuses Republicans of being the only people in the world who ever had the incredible bad taste to criticize a critic…

Of course that is not why Bill Clinton is throwing a temper tantrum.

The reason he’s losing it is because he’s looking at polls showing that most people believe our attacks against what moonbats call “patriotism” are fully JUSTIFIED, and he can no longer publically separate himself from the traitors.

With liberals, everything is always about money, and any attempt to get between the Clintons and Moveon.org hits them where they live and breathe.

Histrionic personality disorder

Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) is a personality disorder characterized by a pattern of excessive emotionality and attention-seeking, including an excessive need for approval and inappropriate seductiveness, usually beginning in early adulthood.

“The essential feature of the histrionic personality disorder is a pervasive and excessive pattern of emotionality and attention-seeking behavior. These individuals are lively, dramatic, enthusiastic, and flirtatious. They may be inappropriately sexually provocative, express strong emotions with an impressionistic style, and be easily influenced by others.”

From someone who lives in Atlanta, I’ve never had any respect for Sad Max Cleland. Recently Neal Boortz had a fundraising event for the Wounded Warriors Project. His producer, Belinda Skelton, tried to get Max to come join them. From Neal’s site:

I won’t even pretend that we at the Neal Boortz Show haven’t enjoyed this story immensely. Every once in a while it seems that someone gets exactly what’s coming to them, and this is what happened to Michael Duga.

Who is Michael Duga? Perhaps you remember a few weeks ago when we did a Boortz Power Lunch to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. We really did want former Georgia Senator and wounded Vietnam veteran Max Cleland on the air .. not to talk about politics, but to talk about our wounded soldiers from the combat theatres in Iraq and Afghanistan. That’s where we ran into Michael Duga.

Duga was Cleland’s “chief of staff.” From the very first phone call he received from Belinda he was abusive and, for lack of a better word, just plain nasty. Due to his abuse of Belinda we made the decision to cancel any interview with Cleland on the air.

Well … Michael Duga is now in the news again. It seems he made a little visit to Martha’s Vineyard over the weekend where he impersonated a John Edwards campaign. Since I’m typing these notes while I’m doing the show … I don’t have time to give you all of the details. But … for a little insight into Max Cleland’s “chief of staff,” just click here … and enjoy!

What a partisan ass Cleland has become.

Great point, and the bigger the lie, the angrier he gets.

Ah yes, your former Commander-In-Chief sticking up for his Generals about as much as you can expect the Never to be Commander-in-Chief former wife of one to.

Why do we listen to this guy again? Surely he’s a former President, but couldn’t we consider his words a little biased? Do we really want to see him play the victim anymore? Does anyone still believe that that man has ever been a victim in his lifetime?

Trailer park trash - if I’ve ever seen it this is it - where’s the tornado when you need it?

Clinton is totally disingenuous here(lying, acting, feigned anger, etc). Compare this video with his rage that slipped out upon Chris Wallace, with the poking at Wallace’s knee, the aggressive in-your-face-lunging, etc.

That was real anger.

A tiny glimpse at the man nutjob behind the myth. Frakkin’ aspirin factory assassin. Your courage dishonesty is astounding.
