Ain’t gonna watch. I had morning sickness so badly when I was preggers the first time I started barfing before my period was even late. I was sick all day, every day, until the day she was born.

It’s been 32 years, but I remember. Nothin’ like barfing for 9 months to dampen a girl’s appreciation for watching it on tv.

(And can you believe it? I was pregnant two more times. Good thing those kids are worth it.)

Wow, her recovery made it even better. As far as the content warning, it really wasn’t that bad. At least for me. I used to be an EMT and trust me, it’s much worse when it hits you. Even if you have full BSI on you can still feel the warmth through all the plastic.

Heh. All I can say is, whatever she’s getting paid, it’s not enough. That was a great recovery, and the fact that she was able to smile before and after, is testament to her fortitude.

I did love it. You know why?

Because that woman was a true professional by God.

In a world filled with people like that idiotic what’s-her-name who “interviewed” Holly Hunter or the Great U.S. American from the Teen Miss USA pageant … this woman is the exception to the rule of media mediocrity.

Imagine Katie Couric handling that. (Never mind, I take it back, please try not to imagine that. I just did, and vomited a little myself).

If that had happened to me, I would have run from the studio crying like a little girl, or curled up under the desk and moaned.
