You can was that down with Pepsi Ice Cucumber. And if you are still hungry, call Pizza Hut and get the amazing Double Roll Pizza Pie. (link with pic) It is a cheese pizza from pizza hut, surrounded by pigs in blankets, topped with hamburger patties, peas, carrots, bacon, onions, peppers and sausage. And some tomatoes too. It has 650 calories per slice.

Once upon I time, many years ago, I went to a convenience store in the suburbs of Tokyo looking for potato-chips. There were no plain-salted ones, but I did find:

plumb blossom flavored
seaweed flavored
ocotopus flavored
cherry blossom flavored
natto flavored
vinegar flavored
onion flavored

I don’t remember soy-flavored but, Japan has long had a wide variety of interesing flavored chips. Of the uniquely Japanese flavors, I liked the seaweed ones the best.

According to the Pringles website a) Japan is not listed among the various countries that Pringles sells in. b) I could find no "Soy Sauce" flavored chip of any kind. However, I don't know Chinese and the ingredient listings for this mythical soy sauce chip may be found on the Chinese portion of the website. Then again, it could have either been a spoof, like that SNL Kobayashi anime skit, or a trial balloon from the company.

When I lived in Tokyo Japan from 1961 through 1965 I would smother almost all of the Japanese dishes I ate in soy sauce and I still love the stuff. Even my Japanese friends would tell me I used too much of the stuff. Since I love Fritos and patato chips I would love these chips. Now they just need to make some Fritos with soy sauce. And how about pork skins with soy sauce. I’m getting hungry now.

You can buy them in a lot of asian groceries, they look like translucent pastel poker chips. You have to deep fry them at home.

They’re not prawn flavored. They’re made out of prawns

Called krupuk in Indonesia. And they’re quite good, actually.

My favorite were the ones with little whole fried fish embedded in them.
