I didn’t cite the Wikipedia article as a source, I merely pointed out that they had an article. I suppose I should have said that, if you want a printed source, that article has references for reliable sources on the topic. These show that “vegetarian” must be used in a very loose sense in order to call Hitler vegetarian, one which ignores its actual meaning. And, appropriately, the article has a link to the phrase “Reductio ad Hitlerum,” the argument that anything Hitler ever did must be an evil action – invading a country, getting elected, breathing, etc.

Curiously, though, this page (http://hotair.com/archives/2007/09/21/video-the-obligatory-yet-pathetic-alicia-silverstone-ad-for-peta/) comes up on a Google search for “Hitler” and “vegetarian” well before the Wikipedia article….

That all sounds good to me, except the chew, I’ll just bring my cigarettes if you don’t mind. But actually I’m not a hunter, not out of any regard for Bambi, in my mind Bambi was put on this earth for only three reasons, which are … breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A lot of the guys at work are hunters, I’m not sure if they hunt by bow or rifle but I do know that the deer sausage they occasionally bring in to work is de-lici-ous. They slice it up like pepperoni, put it on a cracker with a little cream cheese and it’s very yummy. The bottom line on why I don’t hunt is that I’m just too darn lazy, I find it easier to just go to the meat counter at the local grocery store. But you can’t get deer there and that’s a shame because it’s very tasty.

Your source "Wiki" agrees with my source that he was a vegetarian. And then you say a simple Google search would show my source as untrue. What ? That's some real nuance you've got going on there. Besides, Rise and Fall is a much more reliable source than the web.

You can’t let politics get in the way of appreciating a beautiful woman. The ad is pathetic, but there’s no denying that Alicia is cute.

But I don’t think it’s all that newsworthy. Now, if Alicia Silverstone’s former co-star, Liv Tyler, decides to shoot such an ad —- THEN give me the screaming headlines in 32-point type.
