His memory of talking about women with Bill over beers is simply too precious.

Allah, you should have mentioned Hillary in the headline… would pull you more traffic from the search engines over the long run (though blogs get indexed pretty quickly) and with technorati, blogsearch.google.com, etc. in the immediate.
I understand the purpose behind clever/funny headlines, I completely do… and I guess this may not matter at the moment as you’ve reported a surge in traffic… but when you’ve mentioned lower traffic in the past, I’ve often thought it’s because you’re missing out on a lot of search traffic, because the posts aren’t optimized.
Anyway, not tellin’ ya how to do your job (besides, I think it’s more about tags and categories, and possibly auto pinging services), but just thought you could probably get a nice boost from search traffic if you were to do just a few things.
