There’s little need to target MoveOn directly. You have to go to the source of their funding. We saw with the 527s that they all have a sunset policy. The groups change. The funds remains the same.

I have zero doubt that they have dirty money, have given dirty money to Democrats, and are in violation of a whole bunch of tax laws.

Hopefully, we’ll get to see Eli doing the “perp walk” as they drag his leftist ass to jail.

Most hopefully, he’ll resist arrest.

Cornyn’s senate resolution condemning MoveOn — by name — will get a vote today.

The very best part of this was when Cornyn presented the amendment on the Senate floor. He was brilliant! Not only did he stage it during the Transportation Bill the evening of the Petraeus’ testimony to the Senate Committees on 9/11 but he had boo coo graphics. Then he spent several minutes during his speech outlining the daily morning meetings that the reps of the Democratic Party leadership spend in ’strategy sessions’ with reps of the various moonbattery PACs including MoveOn making it a point that never had he ever heard of the such a thing in all his time in the Senate and questioning if the decision making of the Democratic Leadership in the House and Senate was being directed by Soros! Cornyn tore the Ds and new one! Then it was McConnell’s turn!

Did my heart good to watch it!!

Bush is simply wrong, too, when he suggests that the Democrats are acting mainly out of fear of MoveOn’s fundraising power.

Did Bush say anything about MoveOn’s fundraising being the reason the Ds are afraid of them? I didn’t hear that. But Bush is correct that Ds are too afraid to disown MoveOn which is really ironic since this is the alligator they’ve been feeding that can now devour them!

MoveOn is cutting new clips right now. The President should not have said “MoveOn.org” in any of his statements.

When it comes to liberals, the best thing for conservatives to do is let them talk, then spread what they said. Why chase after them with a noose when they often provide their own rope?

NBC says Cornyn’s senate resolution condemning MoveOn — by name — will get a vote today. I’m not sure if that’s good politics or bad politics.

It passed: 72-25

Eli Pariser, Executive Director of MoveOn.org’s Political Action Committee, took this as an invitation to accuse Bush himself of betrayal.

“What’s disgusting is that the president has more interest in political attacks than developing an exit strategy to get our troops out of Iraq and end this awful war,” Pariser said after the press conference.

“The president has no credibility on Iraq: he lied repeatedly to the American people to get us into the war. Most Americans oppose the war and want us to get out. Right now, there are about 168,000 American soldiers in Iraq, caught in the crossfire of that country’s unwinnable civil war, and the president has betrayed their trust and the trust of the American people.”

It’s “worked” for them so far.

The simple fact of the matter is that MoveOn SHOULD be condemned by name because that is the right thing to do- politics be damned!

Really? I disagree. Congress’s approval is almost in negative numbers and Bush is not quite a lame duck just yet. When asked his opinion about the add, what did you expect him to say? Oh, that’s harsh? Wish they could worded it different? MoveOn has two fingers up the lefts nose and they’re dragging them around. Since when has any politician, right or left, been not motivative by the fear of money?

Part of the problem with DC these days is the “good or bad politics” question is the only one that matters. The simple fact of the matter is that MoveOn SHOULD be condemned by name because that is the right thing to do- politics be damned!
