Yeah, hilarious. Playing with a woman’s emotions is always fun ain’t it? Whatever happened to the code of manhood? Did fathers quit teaching the rules and responsibilities manhood (integrity, honor, duty and respect) after 1985 or something? These guys quit developing mentally and emotionally when they turned 11.

How much does it cost to put a message on the Jumbotron? The tickets themselves probably weren’t cheap, either. Expensive little prank (or fake show) for these dweebs who probably don’t even have real jobs.

I’m guessing you didn’t watch the video. A message like that costs $500.

And these guys both work at Collegehumor.com where they’ve made several videos like this one.

I don’t like pranks, even good ones. No matter how clever they are, they just never strike me as funny. Someone always gets hurt (physically or mentally), and that’s just not amusing to me.

I don’t see why he wouldn’t have just told her about it and let her play along.

If women were in charge of the world there would be no wars.

If it was real, folks, this is NOT a harmless prank. People take marriage proposals very seriously, especially women, and it isn’t acceptable to make a mockery out of that. “Streety Bird” could absolutely institute a lawsuit against the perpetrator of this under standard tort theories.

Did you look at the previous pranks in that series? There is no way that Streety could possibly sue anyone for anything after #5. That prank was way toned down from their previous ones.

And that girlfriend, if she is real (and I think she is), would know she is dating a guy who is a commedian. If she hadn’t seen those videos already, then she needs a wake up call about evaluating proposals.

Agreed. But I think of it this way… They are three actors who just put on a free show for people. Watching the reactions of the people in the crowd around them was pretty funny no matter what. I guess if you want to see good actors putting on a good show its going to require a few bucks.

Let me just amend my comment by pointing out that obviously now the Yankees–and probably every other sports team–are going to have to evaluate how they keep this from ever happening again. No doubt some franchises may decide, you know what, it’s not worth the trouble to make certain we’re not being roped into someone’s juvenile practical joke, so we just won’t do this kind of thing anymore. So you in the glasses, thanks for spoiling fun for others through your childishness.

When I asked if all was fake, I was referring to the fact that if they did this and the girl wasn’t in on it…it WASN’T funny. If she was…then WHO the hell were they pranking??

Like I said above, I think all 3 are in on the prank. The only people they are trying to prank are the people watching this video attempting to figure out if this is fake or not. Obviously I could be wrong but that is what my insticts are telling me here.
