Oh, sure. Being antiwar moonbat-lite is definitely a winning strategy for a GOP candidate. By the time people are paying attention to the election we will be drawing down troops. I remember when AP was freaking over Warner's token withdrawal proposal, too. At the time (11:25 and 11:36, to be exact), I noted that it was a token gesture and that Warner was not going to vote with the Dems. Funny how that worked out.

Bill Maher has no expertise on War or foreign policy.

If anyone is truly interested in Maher’s psychological reasoning you just need to watch the Lakoff link from yesterday. Stay with it till the end, because he makes a lot of sense up until he starts talking about what the dems should have done after Katrina. His liberal stupidity is on display in all it’s hilarious glory. The libs in my view are basically scared people. They are afraid of standing on their own two feet and gather their strength from knowing that if he were to fall down, another lib would be there to pick him up and it don’t matter that it was his own stupidity that caused his fall in the first place.

Says a lot about their complete disconnect with our troops and anyone else who is courageous in the face of uncertain odds, with no guarantee of the outcome. This is way I do not respect them. They are basically cowards. The reason why I can respect Lieberman is because he did stand up to uncertain odds and no guarantee of the outcome. And when the dems threw him under the bus and tried to destroy him, he didn’t look to others to save his a$$. He pulled himself up by his own bootstraps and fought back against his own supposed colleagues. That takes stones.

I could go on for days, but I think you get the drift.

It honest to goodness sounded as if he hadn’t even listened to the Patreaus Report. One speech that has made a everlasting impression on me is by Bill Mahers ex writer for his show. He was as big a liberal as Bill is and his speech tells of his conversion over to conservatism and how a liberal thinks. If you can get past the first two minutes of introductory conversation..you won’t be able to stop listening..just go to youtube and in search type Evan Sayet. His speech is done at the Heritage Foundation and titled “How a Liberal Thinks”.

It doesn’t. This was a lie put out by an anti-war group that the good general answered during his questioning in the House. One representative asked Petraeus point blank about this claim, and he said, of course, that the entry angle of a bullet wound has no impact on how it is classified. Just more lies that get told and told and retold even after having been debunked.
