Video: Iran’s “sympathetic” Holocaust miniseries

posted at 2:24 pm on September 18, 2007 by Allahpundit

I knew MEMRI wouldn’t let us down. If you missed Sunday’s post, read it now for background. The AP calls the series “sympathetic to the Jews’ plight during World War II,” which is just vague enough to be technically accurate while omitting the main point of the story. As you’ll see, the Iranian imagining of the Holocaust involves not one but two campaigns of terror against the Jews of Europe. Guess who’s behind the other one.

I’m still curious as to why, per the AP story, the Iranian hero of the series would be shown handing out passports to Palestine to the Jews. Eight episodes left to find out…

Zionists! Oh no, it’s the evil JOOOOOOOOS!!!

Wait…where’s Bush? I don’t see Bushitler anywhere! I question the veracity!

The whole argument of the Islamics is that the jews are fellow brothers of the holy books but that a “Vast conspiracy called Zionism” took over the Jews and made them evil

Islamics have np problem with the jewish people as long as they are good dhiminis

I was waiting for the other shoe to drop when I heard about this miniseries. Well, here it is.

Of course the other enemy were Jews. That was too easy. Unless of course, we’re still blaming Karl Rove.

I remember reading somewhere that the Nazis had propoganda directed at Jews, claiming something to the effect of, “The Zionists among you are the cause of your problems.”

Question: How do we know they are Zionist agents? Where did it say they were Zionists except in MERI’s upper caption.

Second clip, I don’t think holding pistols “punk style” had been invented yet in the 30′s(?). Besides, I don’t know any self-respecting police officer — of any country — that would hold his gun “punk style”. BTW, Allah, can you please stop referring to us as “cops” (as you did in Florida tasing story)? It’s the equivalant of a racial slur, you may as well call us doughnut eaters — the insult is the same.

The AP calls the series Mein Kampf “sympathetic to the Jews’ plight during prior to World War II,”

OhEssYouCowboys on September 18, 2007 at 4:36 PM

By sympathetic they mean only drive them into the sea, not kill them.
