Video: Is Keith Olbermann capable of telling the truth?

Sure is. Imagine Olby’s reaction to O’Reilly saying the same thing here about a Republican candidate. He’d have to do a special two-hour episode of Countdown just to allot himself enough time for all the invective. Click the image to watch.
Update: You get what you pay for, Silky.

Good. I can deal with honest bias.

Im sorry I was really hoping to hear “Hard Time” and “Keith Olbermann” in a different context

I guess he just paid the standby rate.

Illuminating, and from a dim bulb too. Sales managers everywhere fear that their sales staff can’t make a sale outside of their immediate families. MSNBC needed that revenue, apparently.

Is Keith Olbermann capable of understanding what is or is not true?
Oblermann is a kook, but I’m not sure he’s doing it on purpose. I really don’t think he knows any better.
Lawrence on September 15, 2007 at 11:34 AM
Hmmm. I didn’t think the honesty was
“I don’t think he would get a particularly hard time from this network,”
Instead, I thought the honesty was here:
“Why on earth did we do it this way?”

I hear {from anonymous sources} when Geraldo is released from FNC he and Keith will have a show on pmsnbc, Fools and Liar .
You make the call which is which.
And yes I just made this rumor up with no factual sources, any idea when it will be picked up by the AP???

We? Is he working for the Edwards campaign now?
BacaDog on September 15, 2007 at 12:05 PM
It’s a good thing that I know that that’s a rhetorical question, or I’d be stuck writing a long, invective-laden treatise in response. ;)

You actually were able to get Keith Olberman and the word truth into a question without laughing hysterically, Misha?

Who was the guy Olbermann was talking to in that segment? He certainly seemed amused by the comment…
ScottMcC on September 15, 2007 at 12:19 PM
The “guy” (!) is Rachel Maddow of Err America.

Yawn…

Sorry, by looking at the still link, I couldn’t make myself watch the video. Olby is bad enough, but I cannot listen to anything she has to say.

Keith Olbermann having unsupported pretensions; inflated and empty; pompous; turgid: a flatulent style.
Musta been a brain fart for KO

Media Watch is wrong – FOXnews aired the Jack Reed response, immediately after the president spoke, during the Britt Hume commentary segment (which took place before and after the presidential speech).

Fox News not only carried the Dem response, they tossed in an interview with Obama for good measure. But the Dems want to boycott Fox. According to Inside Cable News, here are the ratings for the Dem response:
Democratic Response:
FNC averaged 2,957,000 in total viewers and 764,000 in the 25-54 demo (9:19-9:24)
CNN averaged 1,526,000 in total viewers and 504,000 in the 25-54 demo (9:20-9:24)
MSNBC averaged 1,102,000 in total viewers and 446,000 in the 25-54 demo (9:20-9:24)
Yeah, guys, stick with A-Mess-NBC. Let the boycott continue!
johnny dollar on September 15, 2007 at 4:24 PM
Brit Hume hosted the coverage that featured the DNC response on FNC. Media Matters or whoever is making this claim is expecting everyone not to notice the difference between Fox TV network (your local affiliate that runs 24) and Fox News Channel, home of RedEye.

Niiiice. Think of this as an on-air tip to the knuckleheads at the Elizabeth Edwards campaign: “Hellooo! Just give me a call…”
Jaibones on September 15, 2007 at 5:28 PM
I see Keith has peeled off his Saran Wrap mask and revealed his true identity.
fogw on September 15, 2007 at 6:39 PM
Well, he needs to do something about that haircut ’cause it makes him look sorta girlie in that photo. I mean, it’s bad enough this guy has a feminine name…
