Pro-Atta hate mail from an Islamist professor?

Rusty of the Jawa Report has followed the story of Kent State Islamist prof Julio Pino for a while now. LGF has some video background about Pino and his pro-jihadist website as well. I doubt either Charles or Rusty will be surprised to hear the latest chapter in the story from one of Pino’s long-time antagonists, Townhall’s Prof. Mike Adams:

On September 11, 2007, I was sitting around minding my own business and quietly remembering the thousands who lost their lives six years earlier. It was a nice, peaceful morning until I received an email from someone claiming to be Professor Julio Pino of Kent State University. Pino is a Muslim extremist who advocates the mass murder of Jews while drawing a paycheck from the hard-working people of the great state of Ohio.

The most memorable portions of the disturbing email are reproduced below:

“O, Slaves of Zion and Amerika, Arise! The shaheed (martyr) who yearns to die, and has prayed for this moment all his life, has come to rescue you!”

It goes on. It ends like this:

“The Muslim world is poetic, and the greatest of all epics is martyrdom.“Laa ‘ilaaha ‘illallahu (There is none worthy of worship but Allah) must be on his dying lips that he may enter Paradise. Not by chance did Mohammed Atta’s ‘Instructions for the Final Night’ counsel him [sic] make these his last words before crashing into the World Trade Center. Amen.”

Adams has tried to get an acknowledgment from Pino that he sent the e-mail, but has not yet received a response. Kent State, still hoping the whole issue goes away, hasn’t exactly rushed to get back to Adams about it. So Adams is taking it public.

Someone should get to the bottom of it. Either someone is impersonating Pino to get him in even more trouble than he’s already in, or Pino himself is brazenly sending harassing, disgusting, and threatening e-mails to his critics.

emails leave trails right?

. . . or Pino himself is brazenly sending harassing, disgusting, and threatening e-mails to his critics.

I vote for this theory because of the inability of most people in this country to stand up to bullying. Luckily, in this case Pino seems to have picked a fight with someone who will stand up for themselves.

Like a snail trail without the glitter.

Julio, Julio….stop…think….you might have finally antagonized someone who will ’set about ye’.

Either way this sorts out it still was an unthinkable act. This is a very serious allegation and the person responsible for it needs to know it is totally unacceptable.

If this is a hoax played on Pino, then the perpetrator should be taken out back and beaten with a rubber hose.

If this is for real from Pino, then Pino should be taken out back and beaten with a rubber sex toy. I’ll understand if the beaters get carried away.

Free speech be damned at this point. If you can’t count this kind of BS as a threat, what the hell can you call it? And the first one to say “religious expression” loses a tooth.

Evil. Why is Kent State not motivated to tear this wide open and figure out what’s going on?

TexasDan on September 14, 2007 at 9:03 AM

Even is this guy is posing as the professor, he could be another Virginia Tech type of homicidal loon, and Kent State doesn’t need any more massacres.

Time for the F.B.I. and Kent State to get cracking.

Can you imagine having a child at that school? Creepy.

Heh. That would certainly be a just ending to this sorry tale of government impotence.

Mike Adams has written about this sh*theel before. It’s consistent with some of the stuff Adams took off his website. He’s been complaining to Kent State and law enforcement about this guy for a while. I’ll bet this turns out to be authentic.

These dipstick academics will be the death of us all. And the tax payers are paying for it. Lunacy.

It’s mind boggling that (if this guy sent the email) anyone would ever send an email like this to a man with a public impassioned love for guns and hunting.

LOVE YOU, Mike!! Sounds like it’s islamist season, boy!

These muslim pukes are the other group of scum I despise and desperately want deported.

Back during the time the Framers were penning the Bill of Rights, people who abused their right of free speech were held accountable by being called out to a duel. I think people today would be much more temperate with their speech if dueling hadn’t been outlawed. What do you think See-Dubya, think Jihadi Julio would meet you at dawn for 357s at 40 paces?

Laa ‘ilaaha ‘illallahu

and the rest of the shahada:

wa [ʾašhadu ʾanna] muḥammadan rasūlu-llāh

Literally translated means: “There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the messenger of God.”

If any Muslim ever tries to get you to repeat the above Arabic phrase, he’s trying to convert you.
