Well, that article I linked is Rod Dreher, the Crunchy Cons guy, in the DMN, so that’s something. He’s a good writer.

But yeah, major terror trials don’t get the coverage they should. There was that one in the Bay Area a couple weeks ago–an appeal of a surveillance case, not much doubt about the guy’s guilt–that was covered mainly by Zombie. Zoms noted how all the press rushed out to interview the defense lawyers on the courthouse steps and blew right past the prosecutors.

What I don’t understand is why aren’t there any news stories about this trial? For all the lack of news here in Dallas, the site of the trial, you would think that this trial was being held in Outer Mongolia or an a desert island that had means of communication except a note in a bottle. I e-mailed Channel 11, CBS asking for news about the trial and never received a response nor did I ever see any news about the trial. The Dallas Morning News hasn’t had any news about this trial either and I think it is because they are afraid of the Muslims in the Dallas area.
Maybe we need a blogger who has the time to attend the trial and report what is happening there so that we are not in the dark about things related to terrorist funding and the groups that do such things.

I’m sorry but I don’t understand something here……

Why is a drop in membership/contributions enough justification to remove CAIR’s unindicted co-conspirator status?

Boo freakin’ hoo if being exposed as a terrorist enabler has resulted in a few less American dollars being laundered through CAIR and sent off to Hammas so the Palestinians can blow up innocent Israelis riding some bus in Tel Aviv. CAIR is nothing but a racist organization that provides high altitude cover for the Islamic fundamentalists lurking in some American mosques. At no point has CAIR ever renounced the atrocities of 9/11/01 or ever found reason to condemn the Fort Dix Six, the Goose Creek Two or any of the other terrorist cells that have been uncovered in this nation. IMO, the co-conspirator status is extremely accurate no matter what the relationship with The Holy Land Foundation.
