these guys that do the carbombing thing don’t seem to have any idea just what they are targeting.

for example the bunch that was going to blow up los angeles airport. just what were they going to blow up. anyone thats been to that thing knows that its HUGE.

same thing about navy bases. the first thing is that ships are HUGE. a small one is twice the length of a football field. second thing is that there are guys at the gate that carry guns. they have a long standing tradition that even if you have the proper id they tell you the directions to the place you want to go backwards.

another matter at naval bases is that they are spread out too. a compact crowded one is 30-40 acres and the stuff that goes boom is normally in places where you got to go on safari for three weeks just to get within sight of the outer fence.

i don’t think that the terrorists are organized enough or that there are enough of them to do much any more. the killing field in iraq has gotten quite a number of them and i wonder if that number is most or “damn near all”. certainly most of the old timers are gone and the ones that we are seeing now are the “young and dumb” that are easy pickings.

The video he made about how to make a R/C car into a remote detonator puzzles me. Why would he need to carry that video with him while he’s carrying practice bombs? He already had the knowledge since he made the video himself. I think they were not only going to go “practice” with what they had, I think they were going to meet someone else to pass on information..and never made it. Why else would they drive all the way from Florida to Goose Creek just to set off pipe bombs? There’s more to this story.

I think the same thing. I believe they were probably meeting with someone or some group for more training and eying the Naval area as a target along the way to see where to suggest a good area is to do their deed.

Yeah, bail bond costs tend to nip a bit at disposable income available for charitable contributions. I wouldn’t be surprised, though, if these guys thought CAIR was useless, too.
