Michelle sheds a little more light on what the two students with the trunk full of party favors were up to. There were some very interesting videotapes, and they weren’t of shirtless Mormon missionaries, either.
I post this down here only to add that one of the two, Mohamed, had an Egyptian history of making exactly this sort of interesting video:
According to officials familiar with the case, Mohamed has been arrested previously in Egypt on terrorism-related charges. He is said to have produced an Internet video showing how to build a remote-controlled car bomb.

I think (if they are found guilty) they should each receive one way tickets to Gitmo.

They were in the U.S.
That won’t happen. They could be sent to Super Max, which is a lot worse anyway.

Are you sure? Padilla went to Gitmo, didn’t he?

The video he made about how to make a R/C car into a remote detonator puzzles me. Why would he need to carry that video with him while he’s carrying practice bombs? He already had the knowledge since he made the video himself. I think they were not only going to go “practice” with what they had, I think they were going to meet someone else to pass on information..and never made it. Why else would they drive all the way from Florida to Goose Creek just to set off pipe bombs? There’s more to this story.

Not sure. You could be right.

Nope, he was in the Navy Brig in Charleston, SC.

Which btw, is where these guys were arrested so at least they won’t have far to go.

I come here for “biggest fan” videos, robot porn, and shirtless mormans… not updates on terror suspects that we won’t hear from the MSM, who’d like us to either forget about this or to believe that these are just victims of a racist misunderstanding.
RightWinged on September 14, 2007 at 7:26 PM
Wow, mormons* not “mormans”, lol. And I guess I deleted (by mistake) where I (jokingly) started my comment “why even post on this then?” (meaning, it’s not newsworthy if it’s not about shirtless Mormon missionaries)

If convicted of being terrorists, I think death is the only reasonable sentence. Let’s get serious about this war.

In a fit of irony, a man named Ahmed Mohamed is portrayed as a hapless suicide bomber in a song called Boom by Pittsburg local band Ceann. Freaking hilarious! Go here and click on the song title for a listen. Amazing.

Yeah, bail bond costs tend to nip a bit at disposable income available for charitable contributions. I wouldn’t be surprised, though, if these guys thought CAIR was useless, too.

I think the same thing. I believe they were probably meeting with someone or some group for more training and eying the Naval area as a target along the way to see where to suggest a good area is to do their deed.
