Moderately amusing but exquisitely timed. By next week, there’ll be more parodies in this vein on YouTube than there were for “Chocolate Rain.” If only the guys responsible for this had waited one extra week…

i don’find much humor in this.
they called him a traitor and a liar and with this they’re mocking the completely appropriate outrage which resulted.
jummy on September 13, 2007 at 2:02 PM
Uh huh. Petraeus can’t dance either.

Lighten up a little jummy, most of us agree with you that the way the democrats treated Gen. Petraeus was dishonorable and disrespectful in the extreme. Believe me when I tell you that the vast majority of us he have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for Gen. Petraeus. We are indignant regarding his treatment at the democrats hand, but we still have a sense of humor.
Gen. Petraeus himself displayed a degree of humor over their treatment of him that left most of as awestruck.

I was laughing my ass off. I agree with dorian, no one likes what MoveOn did (disgusting is the word I would choose to describe it), but this video was still pretty funny. It replicated the Brit vid pretty well too.

Texas oilman trial hears conversation with Saddam By Edith Honan
Wed Sep 12, 8:44 PM ET
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Prosecutors played a tape on Wednesday of a conversation between Saddam Hussein and Texas oilman Oscar Wyatt, who is accused of paying bribes to Baghdad to win oil contracts.
Oscar Wyatt, an 83-year-old oil tycoon, faces five counts in Manhattan federal court, including engaging in prohibited financial transactions with Iraq, deals alleged to have violated the U.N. oil-for-food program.
the American people did not want, were not prepared to die for oil,” Hussein told Wyatt and Connally according to a transcript of the conversation from prosecutors.
“You know, you know Mr. Wyatt that the Iraqis sold one third of their oil exports to the United States until the second of August.”
Wyatt replied, “I was largely responsible for a lot of those sales.”
“So we don’t know why Mr. (George H.W.) Bush has cornered the things in this way,” Hussein said in reference to the impending U.S. military action

grrn didnt put in my emphasis. I wanted to show Saddam saying “no blood for oil” back in 1991

I had hoped that we would really go after Hillary after she was nominated. That would be the best time to take her out. Almost too easy.
Now I think we should unleash all of the sleaze, and dirt on her now. To the point that she has to appear in front of congress.
Just so someone can make one of these videos.

I don’t know. The guy looked more like Tom Delay than President Bush, and he just didn’t seem like he had anything to say.
I think the concept is hilarious, but the video didn’t make me laugh.

I started to be irritated by this but then I realized that the reason its so disgusting is that this is already Hillary’s MOS.
Speakup on September 13, 2007 at 4:09 PM
Sorry, I tried to listen to it, but I could only focus on two things – 1) the runny nose and 2) the hairpiece.
