Methodist do not have priests, Catholic religion has priests. Calling him a priest is equivalent to calling a priest a rabbi.

Mexico practices ethnic cleansing at its southern border, the Catholic Church has a history of practicing ethnic cleansing in the New World and none of that compares to simply wanting people moving to this country legally. God’s work is winning souls for Christ, not helping criminals break the law and then being a mouthpiece for them because you are ordained.

Please understand, the mainline Protestant churches in this country have been this way for a long time, though Evangelicalism is drifting this way too. The type of reasoning employed by this Methodist ‘minister’ originated around the 1920s and 30s, when higher criticism came from Europe (mostly Germany). They’ve slowly evolved into pagan religions full of closeted communists, liberation theologians, pagans, and new-age mystics. They’re not representative of historic, orthodox Christianity.

Perhaps that church should have its tax exemption status reevaluatedvoked.

Yes indeed.

What an interesting definition. Unless you’re willing to move all foreign people with a living standard lower than the USA to the USA, you’re a Nazi (ethnic cleansing and such).

And if you do move all those people to the USA, you’re going to cripple the economy; which won’t be any better for the people you’ve moved here.

It would be very fair, it would spread the starvation, suffering, and misery equally across all people; leaving nobody any chance or hope.

Definitely more fair than a system that has unequal results; how horrible that some people in the world get enough to eat, and aren’t abused or forced to work for less than enough to feed even themselves. Only when all people are pushed under the yoke of crippling poverty, starvation, and despair will we be truly equal.

That is a very good point !! It seems a church is never threatened with losing its tax exempt status so long as it is advocating for the LEFT. But let some Baptist Church start telling its congregation to vote Republican and watch the IRS pounce on them and instantly take away their exempt status. That’s why the law that makes a church subject to taxation needs to go away altogether. It is not fairly enforced and its clearly an oppression of free speech.

Churches were never subject to taxation before LBJ came along. And of course today we see the vast devastation our political system has suffered as a result of shutting down the political speech of the church. I believe the Title 26 law that makes any church subject to taxation, if it engages in political speech, is in direct conflict with our Constitution. How this law has survived so long is beyond my comprehension.

Why the churches don’t fight it, I don’t know, but it is my biggest disappointment with American churches. If they were to fight against it, they would win. Allowing this law to stand does a disservice to American congregations and to the nation at large.

I dearly love our priest, but our positions on illegal immigration could not be more different. I remember one morning in Mass last spring, when the area churches were tryting to put together folks to go to DC for some pro-shamnesty rally. He made the mistake of asking at the end of Mass for the people who planned to go to raise their hands — so they could make a guess at the transporation needed. Not a single hand went up. Ouch!!

I don’t expect the Catholic Church to ever change its position, but I bet you’ll find that most Catholics are in the other camp.

For some reason, the Catholic Church never gets attacked for its awful stance on illegal immigration, the death penalty, et cetera. The best the right seems able to do is to attack a specific priest.

Yet, the Catholic Church was heavily involved in promoting Shamnesty. Its bishops and priest tell us we are racists. In Europe, it’s willing to take its illegal immigrant coddling to the point of its own suicide by Islamization. If we want to survive, we need Catholics to attack their own institutions with the fervor of Martin Luther.

When students miss even one day of school, it can be hard to catch up. But with all the days he’s missed by now…combine that with having a selfish, pathetic excuse for a mother who would rather leave her child here in the hands of near strangers just to make a point – it makes me physically ill. Sure, he’s coming back to Mexico NOW – but can you imagine being that age and wondering if you’d ever see, let alone be with your mother again?

I hate to say it, but this will have a lasting effect on Saul that will last far beyond his childhood.
