Video: Elvira Arellano remembers 9/11 in her own special way

There were two “attacks” that day, you see. One involved people jumping off the top of skyscrapers to avoid being incinerated, the other involved the U.S. government deporting people who knowingly violated the country’s immigration laws. So when you think about it, she’s sort of a victim of 9/11 too, isn’t she?
It’s all about her. It always is.
Update: How could I forget the most basic point here? From the comments:
The fact that some of the 9/11 hijackers themselves were illegal (”undocumented”) immigrants doesn’t seem to bother Elvira and her interviewer.

She’s still in Mexico, right?
The rest doesn’t matter to me.
bridgetown on September 12, 2007 at 8:55 AM
She’s like a Mexican version of Cindy Sheehan. She just won’t go away.
jediwebdude on September 12, 2007 at 8:57 AM
That slug has absolutely no redeeming value whatsoever.
rplat on September 12, 2007 at 9:02 AM
She’s looking to make millions from the gullible out there, nothing more. If she really wanted to stay with her son, he would be in Mexico with her. Just another publicity hound.
Texas Nick 77 on September 12, 2007 at 9:07 AM
Ah, yes, a wonderful strategy to endear yourself to Americans. Devalue the tragedy of 9/11 by claiming yourself a victim alongside the 3000 who died that day.
Good luck with that. Vile woman.
SouthernDem on September 12, 2007 at 9:10 AM
Again, **** her and the burro she road in on!
TheSitRep on September 12, 2007 at 9:11 AM
She is a disgusting person. Of course, leftists love her.

Is she going to plant her uterus somewhere? Let’s hope.
BillLalor on September 12, 2007 at 9:19 AM
Has she gotten a movie deal yet?

How does one say “jumped the shark” en espanol?

For a while, I felt her pain over her “broken family” enough to be willing to pay for her son to live with her in Mexico. I’m starting to wonder if living with her would constitute child abuse. I’m sure when her son grows up, he’ll bless American immigration law.

1000 undocumented working at O’Hare?
csdeven on September 12, 2007 at 9:25 AM
She’s like Rosie O’Donnell. Except with the ability to use capital letters.
Slublog on September 12, 2007 at 9:26 AM
Will she be sitting next to Guillermo Richardson at the Democrat Convention next year?
JammieWearingFool on September 12, 2007 at 9:27 AM
Wasn’t one of the highjackers pulled over for speeding a few days before 9/11 with documentation obtained fraudulantly? I really wish we considered it a priority to enforce our damn laws that day.
Zetterson on September 12, 2007 at 9:29 AM
We did her a huge favor by deporting her from this horrible, horrible country. She should be grateful to have escaped to the earthly paradise that is Mexico.

Heh. Keep talking Elvira. You are an anti-illegal alien best friend.
Theworldisnotenough on September 12, 2007 at 9:43 AM
It’s not hard to have “good insight”, when you’re being interviewed by someone who is probably twice as stupid as you are. “‘Migrants’ who have been crossing for literally thousands of years”? His sir name ain’t MORONes for nothin
srhoades on September 12, 2007 at 9:48 AM
It will be a Rosie-DePalma collaboration. They’re looking at scripts now.
Jaibones on September 12, 2007 at 9:49 AM
Out of curiosity… why is anyone still paying attention to her? Didn’t we deport her ass? She’s old news.

Let me ask you guys: if you moved to Germany, you might struggle to learn German, but at least you’d learn how to pronounce place names, wouldn’t you? If you moved to Frankfurt, for example, you’d quickly learn to pronounce it as the Germans do: “Fraahnkfurt” not “FRANKfurt.” You’d pronounce it “Haahhmburg” not “HAMburg.” Right? Right? It would be disrespectful to the denizens of these towns not to say the name of the city as they do.
Notice this woman, after all those years living in the Windy City, won’t pronounce the city’s name correctly. It’s not “Sheee-ca-go,” lady.
Once when I lived in Miami, I picked up a copy of El Herald, the Spanish language version of the Miami Herald, lying on a table in a public place. I can’t read Spanish, but it was summer, and I figured I’d go to the sports section and look at the baseball standings. I was stunned to see the city the Cardinals play in called “San Louis.” We English speakers don’t feel the need to anglicize the Apanish words “Los” or “San” thus we have Los Anglese and San Diego. But to a fair number of Spanish speakers, it seems, having “St.” as a part of the name of a town that was NEVER part of a Spanish speaking nation is inconvenient. And they’d change it officially if they could.
radjah shelduck on September 12, 2007 at 9:59 AM
WTF is her problem with filling out the paper work and coming here legally? She could have started the process years ago…hell she could have done it yesterday but she refuses.
I’m still wondering why after 6 years, a Mexican can walk across our border illegally and wind up on the tarmac at O’Hare with access to commercial airplanes.
repvoter on September 12, 2007 at 10:00 AM
She has had her 15 minutes. Time to move on.
Wuptdo on September 12, 2007 at 10:05 AM
There are two topics that make my blood boil: criminal aliens and muslims.
This attention whore needs to STFU and go away. And take her anchor child with her.
Her 15 minutes are over.
PoliticallyIncorrectSandy on September 12, 2007 at 10:10 AM
She is a living example of why I don’t want open borders. We damn sure don’t need 12 million of her wandering around our streets. She really thinks we owe her something, and I think we owe her a prison cell for breaking into the US twice. I don’t mind my tax dollars used to put illegals in prison.
saiga on September 12, 2007 at 10:16 AM
Wow; quite a revelation. And just think– for the last six years, here I was wasting all my sympathy on those firefighters, the passengers on those planes, and the other folks killed in the attacks. Silly me. How blind I was not to see that the real victims of 9/11 were the undocumented immigrants!
morganfrost on September 12, 2007 at 10:29 AM
It’s awfully hard to get past the irony of the fact that if we’d just enforced those same immigration laws that this woman flaunts, 9/11 never would have happened.
Professor Blather on September 12, 2007 at 10:36 AM
I suspect that she’s under a lifetime ban. Too bad… Soo sad…
If not she damn well should be.
Aside from that I suspect that she thinks she has more right to be here then us citizens have.
CrazyFool on September 12, 2007 at 10:38 AM
Did she mean she wants someone to set her on fire and throw her off a skyscraper?

This is what Senora Arellano is truly thinking, “If it wasn’t for those pesky Saudi hijackers, they wouldn’t have caught us undocumented workers using fraudulent social security cards and birth certificates!”

CrazyFool on September 12, 2007 at 10:38 AM
Damn right she does, didn’t you know that we are living in the paradise that was once Azatlan. Until the evil gringos stole the land from the Mexicans.
deadbackpacker on September 12, 2007 at 11:24 AM
Seriously, if she’s where she belongs, in Mexico, I don’t want to hear about her!
4shoes on September 12, 2007 at 11:45 AM
Tired of seeing her waxed eyebrows and face in general. Put your fist down and go do some… well whatever it is Mexicans in Mexico do. Paz.
flipflopper on September 12, 2007 at 12:13 PM
Elvira, the next time you have a meeting with Presidente Calderon, tell him that he needs to quit deporting all of the poor, “undocumented” Guatemalans who have entered Mexico. That would be a great cause for you to take up. After all, you can relate, being “undocumented” yourself.
jimbo2 on September 12, 2007 at 12:20 PM
Of course it’s all about her. Remember; you can’t spell Mexico with putting Me first!!! Down here in deep south Texico the battle is already lost. Check out this link.
US Taxpayers paying for kids to cross the border illegally every day to attend US school. Over $4.5 Million wasted in the little town of Roma alone!!!
thewhitneys on September 12, 2007 at 12:21 PM
Well. We do owe her one thing. A punch in her fat nose? A swift kick in the ass? A loud, resounding “Boo-Frickin’-Hoo?”
Take your pick.
Miss_Anthrope on September 12, 2007 at 12:37 PM
i love how they mis use the word migrant , if they were truly migratory like birds or other creatures in the animal kingdom. They would move in for a time and then move out later .
Mojack420 on September 12, 2007 at 1:36 PM
Was Elvira working at O’Hare when OJ flew in and his knife ‘disappeared’?
dm60462 on September 12, 2007 at 1:59 PM
I think she’s got it all wrong…
She said: “…It was the start of the attacks against undocumented immigrants”.
No Dumb Ass, it was the start of attacks FROM undocumented immigrants that occurred on 9/11.

We need more judges like THAT!!
Zetterson on September 12, 2007 at 3:14 PM
Thanks for the link to another rip off the United States taxpayer. I cannot believe this has not been stopped.
It is an outrage that the Roma schools are not prosecuted for allowing illegal aliens to attend the schools.
The school principle, Ricardo Perez should be prosecuted for defrauding taxpayers, aiding and abetting illegal immigration among other crimes he has committed for sticking his head in the sand.
ScottyDog on September 12, 2007 at 3:35 PM
It’s far far worse than that. Roma only has a (census 2000) population of 17,030. The Rio Grande Valley has a population of over 1 million. If we just do some simple math and guess that there are 300,000 school age kids and 10% of them are MExican Nationals, then that works out to around $200 Million dollars taxpayer dollars – just in the Valley!!!!!
I know that this is widespread because I pull up behind cars with MExican plates every day when I drop my kids off. …and that doesn’t even address what is being lost at the local colleges because these kids get “in state” tuition.
I can’t begin to express how mad I am about this stuff. I’ve lived in the occupied territory for 5 years now and I only wish I could get the message out to Mr. and Mrs. Sixpack.
Maybe MM will pick this story up and run with it.
thewhitneys on September 12, 2007 at 4:23 PM
…and I forgot to add this little nugget. Our local access cable channel shows MExican nationals how to enroll their kids. When we first moved here, we almost could not get our (14th generation American) kids registered for school because their Social Security cards were still in storage. I had to bring in tax papers to show them their SSNs. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhh.
BTW – I pronounce it MEEE xican. ME first – Always.
thewhitneys on September 12, 2007 at 4:31 PM
The fact our Government allows Mexico to invade America with impunity demonstrates that our Politicians all need to be thrown out of office.
