Thanks for your posts. They’re always good.

Yet he has been furious with his party since at least 2003.

Now, as a Democrat, what can I say to that except that, because my party has been taken over by an astonishingly self-destructive bunch of lunatics who are so dazzled by Hollywood that they think their ideas make sense, I have to agree that right now, any President but Bush and any Congress but a Republican-dominated one would be disastrous.

As a Democrat, I would hope that a solid trouncing of our fanatic-ruled party at the polls this November would serve as a wakeup call and remind Democrats that they only get to do the things that the Democrat Party exists to do if they get enough votes to control the White House and Congress. Which requires that you have serious candidates and embrace serious issues that most Americans, not just tiny pressure groups, care about.

In the last few months, another book of his, “Empire,” was published. It is an apocryphal description of a civil war STARTED by a George Soros-type, naturalized citizen, extremely wealthy, extremely liberal Democrat, who funds front groups like moveon.org in the real world, and who leads an attempt to overthrow the US government and replace it with a “people’s” government.

If you read his book and his articles (two of which I excerpted above), you will see that he does understand his Party, and that he does NOT like where it is heading.

I also see the former party of Woodrow Wilson, FDR, JFK, Humphrey, “Scoop” Jackson, and Truman standing into seditious waters. Fasten your seat belts, ladies and gentlemen. Moveon (i.e., Soros), and the hard left, intend to take over this country.

Can I please, PLEASE take back my votes for Clinton and Gore?

No you may certainly not get a “do over”! If we allowed it for you we’d have to give everybody the same option! I can’t tell you how many people become downright religious (thank God) when expressing their gratitude that Gore was not in charge of this nation six years ago today.

I agree with BSDetector that the text of the ad is pretty much the thoughts of mainstream America and all the hubbub must be about the headlines.

Works for me.

Those joining the military take an oath that talks about defending the Constitution against all enemies foreign or domestic. If anything qualifies as a domestic enemy to the Constitution in 2007 it is MoveOn and the Democrat Party.

And so forth. They’re accusing Gen. Petraeus of lying under oath. Which is ironic even if it were true, since MoveOn was founded upon the idea that the country should just “move on” from the accusations swirling around then President Bill Clinton, including the since proven allegation that he lied under oath and suborned the perjury of others. Back then the nascent leftwing outfit was all about moving on; now they’re the chief accuser. And they were defending a liar then and defaming an honorable man today.

Then perhaps we should form a group called “MoveOn, Again”?
