geraldo gave the finger; therefore 9/11 is a conspiracy? eh?
lorien1973 on September 9, 2007 at 7:31 PM
Serious why am I hoping that some in that truther crowd are illegal Aliens ?
William Amos on September 9, 2007 at 7:31 PM
None of the above. They deserve each other.
2Brave2Bscared on September 9, 2007 at 7:32 PM
He certainly has some potty problems. On O’R Friday, he mentioned that Baghdad was “within spitting distance” of the Suez Canal. New York is even closer to DC, so I would caution Michelle to not leave home without an umbrella. Later, on the same segment, he bragged about urinating in Osama’s abandoned Afghan home. Now this. He’s a scatter shot, and the ammo all seems bodily and eewww …
laelaps on September 9, 2007 at 7:37 PM
Someone must have spit on him, and Geraldo’s just wiping it off….just where was “the boss” yesterday?
JetBoy on September 9, 2007 at 7:38 PM
lol

Geraldo, like that saying about a broken clock - right
twiceoncea day.IrishEyes on September 9, 2007 at 7:42 PM
but he must be a classical Marxist - absolutely “classless”.
IrishEyes on September 9, 2007 at 7:44 PM
I root for both. I root for the absolute challenge of “Daring to be Stupid“
Kini on September 9, 2007 at 7:45 PM
Geraldo’s answer to the toilet paper shortage.
Wade on September 9, 2007 at 7:46 PM
I would grade Geraldo as having no civility, no manners and nothing to say worth hearing.
His debating skills are something else (strong 4th grade level). Rupert Murdoch, when are you going to reel this guy in?
Zorro on September 9, 2007 at 7:46 PM
Much as the truther idiots deserved that, I’d be very surprised if Geraldo doesn’t get at least a slap on the wrist from FNC for unprofessional conduct. I mean, he knew they had cameras–he had to know this would end up on YouTube.
aero on September 9, 2007 at 7:48 PM
Ahhhhh….. Geraldo teaches is how to debate…
Make sure middle finger is up when scratching nose.
I’ll have to remember that…
Actually, I did that the other day when an idiot cut me off on the road.
I’m suing Geraldo for stealing my idea.
Michelle are you taking note?
Mcguyver on September 9, 2007 at 7:54 PM
Most of the truthers are simply gullible, misguided and uninformed. Geraldo is a pandering scumbag. So Geraldo ranks lower on the scale of human value.
imshocked on September 9, 2007 at 8:03 PM
Yes you do. Listen to your wallet.
……. and your conscience.
fogw on September 9, 2007 at 8:13 PM
Classy
Valiant on September 9, 2007 at 8:15 PM
No question, if anyone deserves to be flipped the bird its the truthers, even if its from Geraldo.
Complete7 on September 9, 2007 at 8:15 PM
I like the female computer voice at the end; “Ask Questions. It’s your right.”
Though she forgot to mention that they’re entitled to ignore the scientific answers to those questions too.
BadgerHawk on September 9, 2007 at 8:19 PM
Fox has to something with him.
KBird on September 9, 2007 at 8:23 PM
“It was just a pick! Just a pick!”
J. Seinfeld
Seriously, Fox should boot him out for his repeated bad behavior and lack of manners. RM - are you watching and listening??? BOR - where are you on this???
fred5678 on September 9, 2007 at 8:24 PM
Seriously? Now it’s “Ask Questions”?
When I was in college, it was “Question Authority.” Talk about the dumbing down of America.
Meryl Yourish on September 9, 2007 at 8:27 PM
It’s called “The Tallman Sneak”. ya’ll.
bloggless on September 9, 2007 at 8:31 PM
There are better ways of dealing with moonbat loons like the Truthers than invoking Flip The Wonder Bird, and Geraldo of all people knows that. The moment he did what he did, he stooped to a level that I knew he was more than capable of lowering himself to; I just didn’t think he’d be stupid enough to go there while the cameras were still running.
pilamaye on September 9, 2007 at 8:36 PM
AP on Geraldo::stank on shizam
baldilocks on September 9, 2007 at 8:36 PM
Folks, Geraldo reflects the Latin culture that’s being forced on America. Too soon they’ll be telling us, “love it amigo, or get out gringo.” We already hear this BS in So. Cal.
mustang1 on September 9, 2007 at 8:38 PM
Geraldo can be a jerk, but he’s not even close to being in the same league as the Truther crowd.
Big S on September 9, 2007 at 8:39 PM
He should have stuck to spitting in their faces, since that’s apparently quite OK with FOX and every other media outlet in the country.
Misha I on September 9, 2007 at 8:53 PM
Geraldo is “news media”? Who knew?
CrimsonFisted on September 9, 2007 at 9:00 PM
Fox must be so proud.
If we give them Geraldo will they promise to stop attacking the Fort? (even if they don’t promise)
Kind of like the PD rolling up on a bunch of gang bangers and one of them happens to be from a different gang, bust’em all, throw away the key.
Just how much difference is there in rational cognitive ability between truthers and Durraldo?
Speakup on September 9, 2007 at 9:11 PM
Does that symbolize Tower One?
When does he spit?
profitsbeard on September 9, 2007 at 9:26 PM
In this case I’m rooting for Geraldo. Otherwise I typically despise him.
Nate A. on September 9, 2007 at 9:36 PM
What, it’s a video of Geraldo scratching his eye. Did I miss something?
Mallard T. Drake on September 9, 2007 at 9:43 PM
Okay, that robot voice thing at the end was as gay as it gets… What are we, in a friggin’ sci-fi movie? Well, one of the Trutherse at Digg got pissed at me telling people to seek the debunking information, and then told me that we’re in the “Matrix” (his word), and clearly that’s what half of this is about… being part of something “exciting” because they have nothing else to get out of bed for in the morning. but I have to agree with Allah here:
I hate Geraldo, but I REALLY hate Truthers, to the point where I don’t care if I sound like a Kos Kid, I wouldn’t mind seeing bad things happen to them.
I’m still hounding O’Reilly with emails to nuke Geraldo on his “spit on Malkin” comments, but at least he’s got his head on straight on this one… he was angry last night and joked that he wanted to go out there and fight them a couple of times (like old school Geraldo would have done), and he even accused them of gay bathroom sex.
RightWinged on September 9, 2007 at 9:49 PM
… Oh, and the President sends his regards as well, Truthers:

I’m reminded of an old Star Trek episode. After “Ask questions. It’s your right”, I almost to expect to hear “It is the will of Landrew.” (Devout Trekkers will recognize this quote - and possibly correct me if it’s not entirely accurate.)
Bigfoot on September 9, 2007 at 10:13 PM
Since Mr Rivera threatened to spit on MM I for sure don’t hold him above the level of truthers.
His conduct unbecoming is just more proof he’s no better.
Speakup on September 9, 2007 at 10:31 PM
If it wasn’t for HA and MM I wouldn’t know what this jerk does on TV. If he shows up on BOR, I channel surf until he’s gone. When FNC hired him I wrote and complained. He isn’t the least bit amusing to me. I would like an FBI profiler to profile the people who watch his show. Their average IQ must be around 65.
Terri on September 9, 2007 at 10:50 PM
I mean, he knew they had cameras–he had to know this would end up on YouTube.

pjf626 on September 10, 2007 at 12:01 AM
He’s a mess…
By the way, AP, fantastic headline — in the true spirit of Geraldo, it made me spit out my Diet Coke as I laughed so hard when I read it.
D2Boston on September 10, 2007 at 12:06 AM
Well if I have to pick sides, I’ll pick Geraldo’s for no other reason than he knows 9/11 wasn’t an inside job and has publicly denounced “the truthers”. In fact, I could give them the finger myself.
thedecider on September 10, 2007 at 12:54 AM
Ask yourself
If a group of truthers come to your place of work with a bullhorn and stood behind you yelling - attempting to disrupt your customers (the audience) and you attempting to transact business how would you react? How long would it take you to give them the one finger salute?
I doubt Geraldo did this while FNC was on air. It was most likely during a commercial break. I do not like Geraldo either. However I’m rooting for Geraldo in this case.
ordi on September 10, 2007 at 4:24 AM
I refuse to choose.
What obscene gesture? All I saw was Geraldo saying “These are MY people. SEE how they LOVE me!”
My collie says:
CyberCipher on September 10, 2007 at 9:05 AM
I’m sorry, but between Geraldo and the “truthers”, it’s Geraldo ALL the way.
