Video: Osama uncut

posted at 11:06 am on September 8, 2007 by Allahpundit

Thanks as always to the King Jawa for delivering the jihadi video goods. Here’s the full 25-minute version, although you’re better off skipping it and sticking with the transcript: not only does it take a fraction of the time to read but, very curiously, the video actually switches to a freeze frame of Bin Laden at the 1:55 mark and stays that way for the rest of the clip with only the audio still playing. I can’t imagine why they’d do that unless they thought he looked ill — which he sort of does — and wanted to omit the visual evidence of him fading as the speech wears on.

Our favorite liberal media water-carrier was feeling defensive last night over the similarities between Osama’s “special comment” and some of the left’s pet talking points so he did a little projecting to deflect criticism. Nice try, Krazy, but the evidence doesn’t lie.

Update: “It was at this point, I thought I was listening to Keith Olbermann.”

Wow. Just…wow.

HuffPosters scare me far more than UBL these days. They’re total freaks.

aero on September 8, 2007 at 11:45 AM

About as inspiring as an automated weather beacon.

OBL would have retained more Muslim street cred if he’d kept the grey beard.

Now he looks like an insecure, uber-the-hill loser trying to impress the foxy Ji-Hotties.

He sounds like he’s recording inside a shipping container.

Ever so “conveniently”, that is before the first references to events beyond December, 2001 that could not be semi-accurately predicted.

Why oh why did I click the link? I agree, they scare me more than Osama now-a-days. Its just incredible to me that people can be that willfully blind

The Huffposters are hilarious. It sounds like a round table discussion in a 9th grade political science class. I’m serious, my kid’s don’t try to make arguments that senseless. It’s frightening that common sense has all but disappeared from the simplest of arguments. 300 + posts on huffpo and NOBODY capable of making a legitimate claim or point.

That’s just frickin’ sad.

Why not show him animated, greeting guests, smiling, reading a paper? There is NO downside to it. It would reinforce his message that the U.S. is a paper tiger. Thank would boost his troops morale, encourage the peeples to laugh at the U.S. This just made him look like a puppet and weak.

Phew! I need to wash my eyes out or something! That really hurt trying to rap my head around all that logic and I wasn’t even close to doing it either.

Man o’ man alive….Is this what 40 years of liberal edumakation has produced?

God help us all!!!!

Does anybody else think Osama looks like he’s been drug through two small knotholes?

If he’s alive, he ain’t happy.

Speakup on September 8, 2007 at 12:22 PM

If that’s really him and he really is alive, maybe he had a stroke or something that incapacitated him enough that he couldn’t do videos for a few years. Maybe he’s only now able to sit up and speak clearly for a few minutes at a time or something like that. Perhaps he has cancer and lost his beard to chemo? Could he get chemotherapy in the caves of Pakistan? I think I’ve read that he’s diabetic. Maybe he can’t get proper care in the caves and is just really going downhill fast. There’s clearly something wrong with him–illness, injury, or death–that has been preventing him from releasing taunting videos these past few years.

This was an interesting article that went up at the AP late, late last night.

Doctor at Gitmo who was in Tora Bora

Nothing about Bin Laden’s current status, but pretty interesting what he has to say about OBL’s pansy ass.

[aero on September 8, 2007 at 12:36 PM]

I watched to see if there were any other signs of stroke but didn’t see anything of note. Now that I see the vid, I can’t say for sure he has the droopy eye that he seemed to have in the vid-still, but I haven’t tried to run the vid through better software yet. Anyway, there are many other possibilities if he does have a droopy eye — diabetes, Bell’s Palsy, head trauma, etc. My favorite is that he suffers from a case of trichnosis.

Dusty on September 8, 2007 at 1:26 PM

John Edwards wants to know who leaked his newest stump speech to OBL and he wants to know RIGHT NOW. Oh yeah, heads are gonna roll. That was good stuff in there, read meat for the lefties, and OBL has stolen it, STOLEN IT I tell you. Yup, there’s gonna be a shaek-up in the Edwards camp.

Rational Thought on September 8, 2007 at 3:03 PM

sheesh, Osama Productions. He’s almost making Hal Roach look bad.

Well, Osama, we’ll just keep doing what we’re doing. Its obviously depriving you of a free life.

johnnyU on September 8, 2007 at 3:17 PM

But for his appearance, Osama would fit right in at a Democratic debate.

Blacksheep on September 8, 2007 at 4:14 PM

Yeah, I would have watched the video yesterday, but I watched South Park instead.

I think that Huffingtonpost.com is part of a magnificent right-wing conspiracy with the sole intent of making the Democrats look and sound like a bunch of… well you know. They’ll deny it of course, and in fact only a small portion of the commentators at Huffingtonpost are actually in on the plot, but their job is to continually cheer their unwitting comrades ever onward into heretofore uncharted territories of paranoia and insanity. The de-evolution of human intelligence and reason advertised for all to see online at Huffingtonpost.com, making the foolishness of leftist ideology obvious and unpalatable for those of us whom still retain our minds and sanity.

Here’s my proof, and any of the Huffinton cult members can look it up for themselves, Arianna Huffington was a diehard conservative long before she became a liberal. Her metamorphosis was a necessary ingredient for the witches brew meticulously crafted into a virtual potion designed to speed up the evolution of leftist ideology several fold, faster than the rate at which the greater portion of left leaning Americans could possibly identify with. The eventual goal is to show the more moderate leftists where leftist ideology eventually leads: insanity. The strategy is conceptually similar to a before/after photo.

The commentators over at Huffingtonpost.com fell under her spell and are nothing but tools of a vast right-wing conspiracy, which they would abhor if they only understood the magnitude. The virus has already taken hold and is now thriving within their collective system, however, and even if they learn of the plot now, it is far too late. They will be unable to stop the marching progression toward their own self-destruction. Their minds are already owned and operated by the Halliburton Corporation.

FloatingRock on September 8, 2007 at 5:16 PM

They freeze the frame because that isn’t real. And the fact that our vaunted intelligence agencies think it is real is scaring me.

I don’t know whether Huffnpuff or daily kos leads the other as the web’s longest run of The Vagina Monologues rendered entirely in the leftard dialect.

No offense to actual vagina’s.

I’ve seen the Vagina Monologues (and wrote a criticism of it for out school newspaper afterwards: The Fisking of The Vagina Monologues), the whole thing is written in leftard dialect to begin with.
