If he considers the Suez canal to be a spitting distance from Iraq, then Michelle better move well away from NY state.

jihadwatcher on September 8, 2007 at 11:05 PM

geraldo has a spitting fetish

lorien1973 on September 8, 2007 at 11:05 PM

lol, I didn’t even catch that when I saw this last night!

FYI, I’ve been hounding O’Reilly with emails, asking why he doesn’t take Geraldo, that miserable SOB, to task for his “spit on Malkin” comments. Michelle, if you’re reading this, please bring it up on Monday, whether O’Reilly likes it or not.

RightWinged on September 8, 2007 at 11:11 PM

lol, I didn’t even catch that when I saw this last night!

Haha. Neither did I. Good catch, AP.

I too am disappointed that we haven’t heard anything from O’Reilly, or Fox News in general, about Geraldo’s Boston Globe comments.

2Brave2Bscared on September 8, 2007 at 11:17 PM

Geraldo has delusions of adequacy. He sets low personal standards and then consistently fails to achieve them.

jaime on September 8, 2007 at 11:18 PM

*Snort, gasp, spew* Darn it! I just spit all over my screen! Very funny! Thanks for the chuckle.

Melba Toast on September 8, 2007 at 11:19 PM

Man that’s funny. You’re going to hound him for eternity, aren’t you?

tlynch001 on September 8, 2007 at 11:27 PM

That is going to be one heck of a restraining order Michelle gets against Mr. Rivers……423.58 mile exclusion zone. Nice spitter Gerry!

Limerick on September 8, 2007 at 11:35 PM

I just have to confess…many differences between you and I….Allahpundit. Many differences in belief, respected athiest. You have an awesome sense of humor.

Jay on September 8, 2007 at 11:37 PM

Wow, he must win contests.

PowWow on September 8, 2007 at 11:37 PM

Great affect.

I wonder if we’re going to have to organize protests of our own before Fox steps up on this?

Speakup on September 8, 2007 at 11:41 PM

Geraldo’s a spitter.

Who knew?

Kowboy on September 8, 2007 at 11:43 PM

Straightjacket and Hannibal Lectors face mask should do the trick here.

Legions on September 8, 2007 at 11:45 PM

Geraldo shot a Soviet chopper out of the sky with a loogie in the 80′s…true story.

Bad Candy on September 8, 2007 at 11:50 PM

I have a strong feeling that if Michelle stands up wind that Jerry will never notice as he prepares to let fly.

Limerick on September 8, 2007 at 11:51 PM

What a slug. What a pultroon.

What a self-absorbed sack of shaving schtufff.

Jerry Springer is at least a cut-and-a-half above Gerald Riviera.

And that’s not sayin’ a helluva lot.

Bad Candy on September 8, 2007 at 11:50 PM

Honest and for real?

Well then, I’m gonna have to throw a big ol’ party for Gerald, just as soon as I park my plasma bus after that long, long drive from Andromeda.

hillbillyjim on September 9, 2007 at 12:04 AM

In my work as a computer support technician, I sometimes have reason to impress upon non-technical people the importance of good backups. I have therefore repeatedly told a story that illustrates why our preferred backup solution is so helpful. Without fail, I use these words.

I once had a customer in the Panhandle of Nebraska, within spitting distance of Wyoming, whose server wasn’t booting correctly. From the console messages described to me, I knew that there was corruption of the root filesystem (which was separate from the one on which our application and its data reside).
Our nearest field tech was in Omaha. It would have taken him a day and a half just to get to the site. Because of the backup software in use, I was able to walk the customer through restoring the corrupt filesystem in 20 minutes, and they were up, and had lost no data at all.

I don’t know how many times I’ve told that story. Good thing I haven’t threatened to spit on anyone.

Geraldo hits bottom, digs.

infidel4life on September 9, 2007 at 12:45 AM

Goo goo ga Joop!

hillbillyjim on September 9, 2007 at 1:09 AM

So we’ve identified his spitting distance; is there any intel on his accuracy?

Canadian Infidel on September 9, 2007 at 1:56 AM

Well, he missed the target with Al Capone’s safe. Maybe that is a clue.

Mallard T. Drake on September 9, 2007 at 2:38 AM

Head Duncekin of the Spittle-Flecked Guild.

We produce a liter of saliva per day.

Only Geraldo needs more.

profitsbeard on September 9, 2007 at 2:52 AM

Geraldo’s a spitter.

Who knew?

Kowboy on September 8, 2007 at 11:43 PM

Heh, rumor has it Sen. Craig commented that the last time he saw Geraldo in the mens room he wasn’t a spitter…rumor has it that is.

Went right over my head too.

I was also a bit frustrated irritated agitated exasperated POed, that O’ Reilly didn’t hit the ‘stache about his loathsome comments regarding Michelle.

I give O’Reilly major props for providing Michelle with a platform for getting her message out.

And I imagine network office politics are played with croquet balls.

But after the segment with the ‘stache, I felt that Bill’s trademark, “we’re lookin’ out for you”,may have rung somewhat hollow to Michelle’s ears.

Canadian Infidel on September 9, 2007 at 1:56 AM

Yes, but I’ll need a stick and a coupla square feet of sand to outline it for you.

soundingboard on September 9, 2007 at 7:56 AM

Geraldo hits bottom, digs.

infidel4life on September 9, 2007 at 12:45 AM

Then wallows

soundingboard on September 9, 2007 at 8:02 AM

What a slug. What a pultroon.

Shouldn’t that be “What a slug. What a pultroon spittoon”.

Geraldo shot a Soviet chopper out of the sky with a loogie in the 80’s…true story.

Bad Candy on September 8, 2007 at 11:50 PM

It’s still classified, but a reliable source tells me that during the early days of the U.S. Afghan campaign the ‘stache developed a severe respiratory infection, and was almost single handedly responsible for the capture of Khost.

Supposedly, after one very productive cough, he took out over fifty Taliban and al Qaeda fighters with a single laser guided loogie.

soundingboard on September 9, 2007 at 8:16 AM

Shouldn’t that be “What a slug. What a spittoon”.

james hooker on September 9, 2007 at 8:06 AM

Unless you’re quoting Bugs Bunny. Then it’s “What a dope. What a maroon.”

Was it Geraldo who put the magic loogie on Newman and Kramer? Here

Wade on September 9, 2007 at 9:40 AM

Sorry, could not bring myself to watch the video. To this family Whorealdo is dead and we have placed a burial shroud over him and all the vile venom he spouts. The very second he comes on Fox News or any other channel the channel changes or the TV goes off.

KC-135A on September 9, 2007 at 10:24 AM

KC-135A on September 9, 2007 at 10:24 AM

Ha. same here. and that’s what I told O’Reilly and Fox news in my emails.

JiangxiDad on September 9, 2007 at 10:47 AM

Wade, great video. Yet I think Geraldo wanted to “Spit and Run”!

I honestly believe FOX loves the attention he brings, and the only way to stop him is to ignore him. Calls and emails mean he’s being watched…

JiangxiDad on September 9, 2007 at 10:47 AM

I do the same..channel changing and emails to the BOR and Fox.

JWS on September 9, 2007 at 11:09 AM

Fox may be getting attention…but negative attention is not always good attention…many viewers are tuning out Whorealdo no matter what he is on. When Fox realizes the damage he does to their programs he’s gone…unless of course management agrees with his philosophy, which anymore with Fox’s programing I’m not so sure.

Except that the only reason I even know about Geraldo’s comments, is because of HotAir and MM.com… O’Reilly has screamed at him before, and I think it’s time he does it again.

RightWinged on September 9, 2007 at 1:49 PM

RightWinged on September 9, 2007 at 1:49 PM

Except I think that “screaming” was little more than BS. O’Reilly is a tool.

oldernslower on September 9, 2007 at 12:04 PM

I turn the channel EVERY time geraldo is on anywhere…

JWS on September 9, 2007 at 3:11 PM

I really hate to agree with the mustache, but he’s right in that we will be in Iraq for a decade or more. Personally I never had a problem with that, but I thought it was stupid of the administration to not acknoledge it from the beginning.
