I think he means you should read it online (FYI, I checked my paper and 3 local news stations - ABC, CBS, NBC affiliates - and none had ANYTHING about the Hsu story)

24Klady

Sorry I don't know the answers to your question. She did not say. Yes it is the ultimate tracking tool and very scary and an affront to our privacy.

-
I don't understand why some on this site find this so hard to believe or found it completely ridiculous when they first read the post. If these people would just think about it.

-
Just watching the news we hear about the technology it all the time. Think about it.
-

When someone is missing we hear whether or not their cell phone or their ATM card or credit cards have been used. So we know the technology is out there so how hard is it to add two and two together. It is only logical.

Did the woman say if their tickets had been purchased with a credit card? If so, would running their name against a passenger list bring up their card number in the airline's system - thus, cross checking against all recent activity on the card? Perhaps the screeners were testing a new system? Sorry about so many questions, but that would be the ultimate tracking tool. Great for TSA, not so good for passenger privacy.

Hsu may be safe from suicide for the moment. but right now, across three continents, poor laptops, computers, hard drives, filing cabinets and other memory devices - living or otherwise - are suffering a wave of mass suicide as they spontaneously combust, throw themselves between strong magnets, dive under steamrollers and into shredders, submerge themselves into blocks of concrete and leap off of bridges - in that order. All voluntarily to be sure. Poor little tools. But, for the good of the nation, sacrifices must be made.

I'm waiting for the Dem response that Republicans are jealous over the greater amount Dems have raised, so jealous that they are now going after the contributors to slander the Dem politicos. And who is the leader of the Republicans that they will point to? Say it with me, class:
"It's All George Bush's Fault!"
And of course, Rove resigned so he would have a free hand to wage war on the Democrats without answering to any committee.
Ridiculous? Hsu betcha!

Have you heard about Soros' group, America Coming Together?

This story was largely ignored by by the MSM. What a shocka!

Discover the Networks notes:

In August 2007, Politico.com reported that the Federal Election Commission (FEC) was fining ACT some $775,000 for having used unregulated soft money to help John Kerry and other Democratic candidates in 2004. The FEC determined that most of the $137 million ACT had raised for its get-out-the-vote effort that year, was derived from contributions that violated federal limits. The settlement was the third largest enforcement penalty in the FEC’s 33-year history.

Suits were filed with the FEC during the 2004 election cycle but they were ignored until the election was over. ACT shut their doors in 2005, and while people say that the plug was pulled because they failed in their efforts, I suspect it was also because they knew Soros and others knew it was illegal and it would make less of a news splash if they closed up shop before the FEC made their ruling.

And we can thank McCain-Feingold for doing such a stellar job of ending corruption.

Yeah I actually had read about the new version passports, and know about the dog chips. I just meant that this stuff isn't happening yet, not that it couldn't.

I don't watch network news because of obvious bias. Are they reporting this story or investigating this?

On NPR this morning Larry Craig rated 3 minutes of commentary by the slimeball Dan Schorr. Coverage of Hsu - not so much, as in not a word.

All this crap about ‘I’ll give the donations back if they’re dirty’ is closing the barn door after the horse is out.

Not to mention, what charities are getting this dirty money?
Not the ACLU, NARAL,Planned Parenthood, Holy Land Foundation, etc. by any chance?
