i tend to agree with some of these other folks here that this ad works at lots of levels. its a thing good that theyre taking on Moron.org head to head.

it also sends a message to Blue Dogs, that if they should find themselves capable of seeing the good to go with the bad in Iraq, they will not be sent off onto the ice to die with nothing but a small sack of whale blubber.

Where I don’t understand is we’re apparently winning in Iraq now, or things are improving, yet our allies have just been routed in Basra and everyone knows they will pull out soon.

Whether they pull out or not, there is no hope in hell they are going to retake Basra so that part of the country is lost to them.

Doesn’t this factor in and make things much less optimistic than otherwise may appear to be the case based on concentration of American forces elsewhere?

If we are at war and these folks wish to work against our interests, and in attempting to work against our forces and the mission give aid and support to the enemy they should called on it.

We need a surge at home to bring this type of thing to a conclusion.

I agree with MNDavenotPC above. MoveOn.org wants us to lose the war, most Americans want to win it. Everyone wants it to end, and once the public realizes it can end with a victory they’ll turn on far-left ideologues fairly quickly.

Is the alternative to just sit back let the looney left continue their lies and we just sit back and shake our heads saying, ” Oh, they’re so bad!” I won’t. Keep these ads coming. If the populace , as you state Allah, are aligned with Moveon on this issue, then a pox on them . BTW I don’t necesarily agree the populace IS in agreement knowing the fallacy and inaccuracy of polls whoever may run them.

How’s that old saying go? “There is no honor among thieves”. It was only a matter of time before the far left moonbats began turning on their own. It will be interesting to see how the Democrats try to position themselves when Gen. Petraeus (SP?) reports that there is progress being made in Iraq. Apparently, some have already made their minds before even hearing the report. I wonder if they will refuse to hold a meeting with the General again.
