Twisting the facts and changing the situation that is already there are two different things.

As I recall that photo of the starving girl, the photographer did not leave her to be eaten by vultures. Journalists have no substantial ethics but even they don’t leave children to be eaten by wild animals.

Vultures only eat dead people, at which point, nothing else would have been done for the girl anyway.

He may have taken her back to her village, but he didn’t bring the starving village food, which was my point to begin with. He simply showed what was there and did not try to change anything despite how horrible the situation was.

As for your defense of appeasement of the violent Muslim thug shoe man, Esthier, what you don’t realize is that most bullies fold when their bluff is called. When you retreat from such threats, you are escalating the violence. You are teaching every Muslim thug that he can win with threats.

You sound like an after school special. Many bullies actually mean what they say and will attack you if you do not do what they tell you to do, especially when these “bullies” are fully grown men with an entire community to support them.

Your idea that videotaping the Muslim thug in the act of making threats is a victory is not persuasive. We have plenty of film of Nazis invading Europe and killing people, yet such film does not constitute a victory.

A victory in what sense? Militarily, no, the video tape didn’t win. But all they wanted in this clip was proof that Muslim radicals were taking over, and that’s exactly what they got.

There was a time when no one believed Nazis were doing the horrible things that were being said of them. When proof, such as video tapes, came out, it motivated others to finally confront something they’d long ignored.

In that sense, yeah, I’d say the videos were a win, especially if those taking the videos were few in number and would have been unable to mount much of an attack on their own. Sometimes it’s just important that the truth get out.

Failing that, the next time he strikes her, she should shoot him.

Yes, if a woman is beaten by her husband she should not find ways to accommodate it. Her husband should go to jail, get sued, get a restraining order, and any other legal punishment that fits. Failing that, her male family members should administer a beating to him worse than the one he dealt out and tell him to leave town. Failing that, the next time he strikes her, she should shoot him.

In the photo, she’s hunched over on the ground, while a vulture stands just feet behind, waiting for her to die.

He caught a lot of crap about how he took her picture then did nothing to save her. He decided his role was to get the information out and not to try and stop it himself, theorizing that more action will be done if he can get others involved.

You may disagree with him, but that’s the general line journalists take no matter their media format.

Having studied Islam in an academic setting I can tell you those titles doesn’t mean a thing.

Militant Islam = Islam
Moderate Islam = Apostasy
Love in Islam = Christianity

Esthier, the cops just smoothed things over. They didn’t solve anything. The Muslim thug won by denying the video crew access to the streets.

Also, the video crew clearly got the access they wanted. In fact, the shoe man gave them EXACTLY what they wanted, proof of the theory that radical Muslims are taking over the city.

What more did they want? Another shot at the street? So what. The real story, as Allah himself points out, is that this man believes he owns the street, and with his stupid outburst, the proof of that story was caught on film.

The camera crew could not have gotten a better response had they paid the man as an actor.
