I second that: The only reaction I’d ever have to wasting even a minute on Olbermann would be despair that I’d never be able to get that minute back.

Life is too short. We carelessly let too many present moments slip as it is, without delierately opting for self-abuse.

And Mchelle, the day will come when you’ll be in proximity to Geraldo Rivera again. I suggest you walk right up to him. He’ll either:

1. Spit on you, in which case he finishes himself off as a professional in general or a “journalist” in particular while you gain in stature and perceived/real courage (and you can haul him into court and win on civil or criminal assault and/or civil battery charges if you choose); or

2. More likely – he’ll back down from his “tough talk” and prove what an empty shell of a man he is.

Either way, you win, he loses.

Although to many of us, you already won the “debate” the moment he made that stupid remark about spitting on you. What’s left is whether you decide to put frosting on the cake.

It may seem to be too little, too late…but I emailed Fox & Geraldo directly to register my criticism. Here’s what I said:

Geraldo,

I take issue with your attitude and comments of late, the most recent being so juvenile and vitriolic I felt obligated to inform you of my disgust and repulsion.

It’s bad enough that you support illegal aliens over US citizens in our fight for national security and sovereignty (and they’re NOT all from Mexico, since you seem to be ignorant of that fact).

It’s bad enough that you willfully ignore the rule of law and our rights to pursue your own agenda, one that only benefits your “image” with Latinos.

It’s bad enough that your “poster children,” the illegals, are also abused for your benefit and career advancement.

But your comment in the Boston Globe is beyond the pale, and I’m not sure that, even though you have a law degree, you even know why. Do you? Do you know what you said that crossed the line, one that even the worst of your ilk rarely crosses unless they’re posting on a site like the DailyKOS anonymously?

You said you’d spit on Michelle Malkin. In case you were asleep during this class in law school, spitting on someone is actually considered assault. So claiming you’d do so is a threat, and doing so in many states is actually a felony.

This is why I have refused to watch you for years, no matter where you are. You are not worth my time or effort, and this is further proof of that belief.

FOX,

I will not watch your channel as long as Geraldo is employed there. I am disappointed you employ someone who represented a gang as an attorney and hosted a talk show the caliber of Jerry Springer.

You bring absolutely no class or dignity to your channel by employing someone like him, and I refuse to give you my time while he remains there.

I won’t watch Fox until they fire him…and maybe they’re getting some complaints besides mine.

Maybe this’ll at least help a bit…who knows?

Oh- Olby, remember you are pandering to the ultra-left kiddies now and they don’t say “smoked” the say “pwned” now. Can’t even get that right.

One need not be seven feet tall to psychologically impair others, especially mindless liberal commentators.
