Well, in that spirit, I’m trying to come up with a list of guys I know who who would plead guilty to propositioning another guy in a public restroom when they’re innocent. You know, just to make it all go away. I can’t think of one, not a single one, who, if innocent, wouldn’t have been screaming and yelling at the cop, calling HIM the freakin’ perv and getting a lawyer.

Please, can the GOP just make this creepy little pervert go away?

I know – he is my Senator, and one of the finest, most honest Senators in Congress.

The ONLY WAY I won’t think of the Democrats as sharks is if they also focus in on their own bad apples. But they’ll NEVER do that.

I think the Republicans are too weak-kneed to realize it, but the Democrats, by continually focusing only on Republican ills, are handing the Republicans a major campaign issue. The Republicans should IMMEDIATELY begin mentioning IN EVERY SPEECH and IN EVERY INTERVIEW that it is the Republicans who wash their dirty laundry, but that it is the Democrats who hide, cover up, and defend their dirty laundry.

The Republicans should then give the statistics of what percentage of their dirty laundry they wash vs the Democrats, along with specific examples.

They should then ask the viewer, “Who would you prefer, the party who washes their dirty laundry or the party who hides theirs?”

They could then put a small picture of soap in the corner of the screen, to continually reinforce to the public that it is the GOP, not the Democrats, who are the clean party.

I sincerely hope that the GOP has the malkins to do this, but I’m not holding my breath…

This entire episode is sick and disgusting.

Why? Do you mean the abusive cop with a track record for being dishonest?

any doubt that was in his wife and kids minds would be at the very least…questioning heavily.

I’m sure that’s one of his main reasons for fighting this.

Now, whether that helps us politically is another question.

The fact is, we have a lawmaker that is doing questionable stuff that could get him blackmailed….and that is not kosher. Not when they vote on our behalf.

But a red flag is not proof of guilt.

Theres so much mud being slung out there in politics today that anyone who takes any kind of stand is going to get smeared… and some of it will be remembered, even if not prooven.

His “sin” is bad judgement in not fighting it in the first place… but having BEEN accused of somthing in another state… and then told that if I pled out to a lesser charge it would go away… instead of me having to get a lawyer, and go BACK to the state multiple times to fight it (would have cost me MUCH more to fight), I have some sympathy for his situation.

Please resign Senator Craig. At least Republicans CAN be hypocrites because we have standards. Dhems can’t be hypocrites because they have NO standards.
