Democrats and Republicans and independents dying in Iraq to defend your liberties. Some of these troops may not agree with the decision to go to war, but fight for you they do, despite that.

That IS the real world my friend, not a bunch of kiddies in the blog sandboxes throwing dirt at one another. sorry it doesn’t match up with your idea that America is at war with terrorists and Democrats.
Carter was a bad president but that doesn’t make all Democrats a bad American. Nixon was a flawed president but it doesn’t make all Republicans flawed.

As I said the enemies are the terrorists not our fellow citizens. Sometimes watching the right and left duke it out in blogworld is an education in stupidity.

Why do you care what Kos says and why do they care what other blogs are saying? The number of people who go to the sites like these are in the single digits of total voter percentages. But elements of both sides extrapolate it out to make it seem that “the left” or the “Dhimmicrats” or the “defeatocrats” or the “neocons” or “warmongers”, etc. etc. can be painted so easily by what is going on in blogville.

I read Michelle’s site also and she has pretty strong views towards certain issues. Granted she couchs what she believes in terms that are civil, but that doesn’t stop the left from reading her views and portraying her in a way they see fit. I guess I’m tired of seeing a standard of discourse set for one party that the other does not see fit to emulate.

Oh and See-Dub, thanks for the advice but I have neither the time nor the wit to start or keep up with my own blog. One of the reasons I visit Hot Air/Ace/PW/JOM is the commentary from those sites follow my thinking, but the authors and posters are better able to express themselves than I could ever hope to achieve.
