Who should be convicted? And why?

Because the deaths are tragic? That alone requires a conviction of a Marine who put his life on the line fighting there?

Things like abu ghraib where there is a lot of evidence, I can see…but this has evidence to the contrary and the soldier that started all of this lying should be punished along with murtha. I bet he’s sweating bullets atm that the last one will be exonerated.

I’m looking forward to the last Marine to be cleared from this circus. They should never have been charged in the first place…the incident investigated sure…but not charged.

God help our soldiers.

Yep. No justice unless someone is convicted. Given the chance, I’d vote to convict murtha of aiding and abetting the enemy, if not outright treason. Then justice would be done.

Yep I have to agree with Murtha, in order for justice to be done regarding Haditha somebody has to be convicted. That someone should be Jack Murtha for committing treason.

That does seem to be the most reasonable answer to this situation. Tragically it seems some civilians were killed but it doesn’t seem to be a deliberate act.

since when dose justice = conviction?
I thought finding out the truth would be the most importaint thing but then again we are talking about John ABSCAM Murtha.

How about they convict any captured terrorists, since they started the attack.

Murtha deserves to be convicted, also, for slander.

Civilian casualties, though heinous, are inherent to the process and quite frankly help end wars. Think of the 100,000 civilians burned to death in the Tokyo fire bombings, think of Dresden, Nagasaki, Hiroshima.

War is a brutal and bloody business, people who don’t have the sack for it should shut their suck hole and let the greater men do what must be done to ensure that even the pansies and gutless get to enjoy the safe umbrella of freedom we live under.

So twenty four civilians got caught up in the action,yup war is hell,and lets not forget that American blood was shed for these civilians of Irag,to get rid of Saddam and bring feedom to these civilians.
