Making fun of retarded kids is just mean.

Don’t do that.

Making fun of a really stupid, beautiful, stupid, popular, really stupid, and soon to be wealthy, stupid girl is funny as hell.

Until someone shows me that she has some short-bus paperwork on file, she’s just plain ol’ dumb to me, which is funny, not sad.

As long as we, as a society, continue to reward physical beauty far more than intellect, how can anyone not claim to be descended from dirty apes. I have a new theory: some of us are divine creations bearing Promethian knowledge, while others are really hot-ass ape descendants. The latter tend to do fairly well in the world. Hell, I wish my greatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreat… G-Ma was Koko. I’d be rich and beautiful instead of degreed and impoverished (well, sub-middle class).

Speak for yourself. They are niave for sure. Still rough around the edges, yup. Rebellious in nature, SOP for teenagers. But pigeonholing the lot as stupid suggests you need to get out of the house more.

Sorry to hear your first hand experience resulted in damn stupid offspring. Maybe you should have taken more time nurturing them yourself instead of depending on the public education system to prepare them for the real world.

Reality Check Boys and Girls:

The girl’s image is still out there long after the winner and first runner up has been forgotten. This is indeed one of those situations where there is no such thing as bad publicity.

That Miss South Carolina still came in third after such a strange answer tells you how important the “brains” portion of the contest was.

I’m sure that every one out there being hyper-critical were themselves erudite and urbane when they were 18- right?

It’s just a beauty pageant people!

Finally, for those sniping at Vanna White (a former Miss South Carolina herself)…… Any woman who can make an entire decades-long career out of turning letters must be doing something right! ;)

That’s right folks, just keep apologizing and making excuses for this “child’s” horrible grammar and ability to get a thought across. God Forbid she should be made to feel dumb, she might be ruined for life. Ooops, too late. This is the current problem with this country, being apologetic and defending the undefensable. She is a sad testament to 1) what the school systems are putting out now 2) the type of young adults the kids now have to look up to and 3) the type of persons our society will protect and defend rather than call them out which might force them to re-evaluate their current lot in life and maybe try to make it better. I’d expect such comments on a more liberal site, but here lately, it seems a lot of folks here are slanting a little left.
