Video: MoveOn targets Iraq apostate Brian Baird

posted at 2:37 pm on August 29, 2007 by Allahpundit

They could have gone three ways. Attack Baird for going against the majority of Americans who want a pullout, attack him for being too sanguine about the deadlock in the Iraqi government, or attack him with anecdotal evidence that the Iraqis want us out right now which can be easily contradicted by various vets and embeds whose experience is quite different. Naturally, they went with the weakest of the three.

Presumably Jon Soltz is shocked and angered by the use of a photo of this guy in uniform for such a political purpose.

Driving-over-the-cliff episode: 10,001.

I am thoroughly enjoying myself.

Can MoveOn ever truly Move on?

“Support our troops, Bring them home”

DUH. Bring them home VICTORIOUS!

As a Marine, anyone who wants me to give up a mission and set defeat upon this country does not support the troops. That is a bunch of crap and I am very tired of hearing it from the leftist cowards who by shooting off their blow holes are endangering the very troops they lie about with their “We support the troops”

They support defeat not troops.

Does anyone really still believe these people support the troops?

BohicaTwentyTwo on August 29, 2007 at 4:20 PM

Thank you for your service, now shut your frakkin useless piehole.

Now would be an excellent time to invite Congressman Baird to join the GOP.

If we can pick off enough patriotic Dems, we might end up in the majority again.

Wade – don’t forget – they think you all are “children”, forced into service by the lean, mean Bush machine. They truly don’t think in terms of our servicemen and women being ADULTS fully capable of making rational decisions on their own.

A) Kill jihadis.

B) Secure against foreign influence.

C) Maintain control over the oilfields.

D) Kill more jihadis, and try to add Sadr to the pile.

Repeat until the Iraqis are stable enough so that we can move on to other jihadis on other battlefields.

This is going to take a lot of dead theocratic terrorists before we can relax.

But that’s what a civilized people do.

Defend Civilization against maniacs.
