Wonderful news to start the day. I wonder what the quid pro quo is. Standby.
Update: Christians be gone!
Under the terms of the agreement, South Korea agreed to stick by its previous decision to withdraw its 200 non-combat troops from Afghanistan, which work mostly in an engineering and medical capacity.
In addition, Seoul will halt all Christian missionary work in Afghanistan.
Update: They’ll be released in three or four days, but the German engineer and four Afghans who were kidnapped last month are still being held. The Taliban wants 10 prisoners in exchange for them.
