Oh good maybe the tatooed shaved head count will continue up here in the Palm Springs area. Bank robbery has been incresing here too.... wonder if it's connected?. Just doin jobs Americans won't do.

Bleeding hearts don't want to talk about the baggage that comes with the lettuce pickers. These people and their (many) relatives come from a lawless country where drug trafficking is commonplace and there's little or no health care. It's a toss up whether the Federales or the cartels rule the streets. They come here from a failed state and a failed economy and a failed culture that seems unable to effect change in their own country. And then have the brass to wave their silly flags in our streets. Unbelievably they are reluctant to assimilate which tells me they want our land, they don't want to be Americans. They LIKE what they come from and are proud of it. I think They view any lawful society as a plum to be picked. Yes there are exceptions, but not nearly enough.

I read what I've written and it makes me sad. I'm sorry I sound the way I do, but I live amongst them and I've had enough of this Mexican Rights crap. Our forefathers didn't fight for Mexico's rights and we didn't build a nation to give away to Mexico. Just because they can't run their own business doesn't mean we forfeit ours to them.

I agree with most of what Chuck has to say. I do take issue with his last point, which he says he got from Newt, calling for a "touchback" provision. On the face of it it might make some sense if you are talking about illegals from BORDERING nations. But, what about the roughly one million or so illegals from say, China? Should they buy a plane ticket to Beijing and hang out at the local Marriott while our embassy fools around with their paperwork?
The touchback thing never made any sense to me.

What do we do with all the children they will be forced to leave behind?

CitizenJim on August 27, 2007 at 4:56 PM

Foolish man, Chuck Norris will set up a refuge camp for abandoned children in the Santa Monica mountains. He will stand guard, and fight off the onslaught of Mexican dictators and hit men bent on killing the children and taking revenge on our coulture of border security.
He will personally save LAX from terrorist bomb, set to divert attention as teams of Mexican ninjas swarm his refuge camp. He will helicopter in, after de-arming the LAX bomb and killing everyone but the master mind behind the plot, and save the children...after kicking the sh*t out of the master mind.
The children will be overjoyed and he will win the heart of the master minds beautiful daughter. Who will use her fathers money to help the children.

You must be new to America.

Chuck Norris sat four tables away from me at an upscale Thai restaurant in La Jolla. He nodded and smiled to the waitress that brought his drink–she was immediately pregant with his son.

Of course, I realized immediately your story was fiction. Because Chuck Norris never smiles.

The children are the responsibility of the illegal invaders and NO ONE here in the US forces the illegal invaders to leave their children behind. The illegal invaders must take their children with them and raise them in their own country.

Higher labor costs will stop any business from opening in AZ that can open somewhere else. Retirees will want to buy homes somewhere where prices are lower. .

Sorry, but if you think you are paying a cheaper price for a house due to illegal labor, you are fooling yourself. I've been in the building trades for 30+ years and the price of housing doesn't go down. Just contractors and subs make more money.

Amazing what a little ENFORCEMENT of the law does. In a similar vein, the new directive from NJ AG is paying off: turn in a machete, get a free bus trip.

What IS IT about machetes??? Maybe for playing "whack a mole" in the front yard??

When I saw Chuck Norris in the headline, I wistfully thought, "Sweet! Chuck Norris! He should run for office or something." But, dude...seriously, what's with the 'scary' allusion to the "North American Union and NAFTA superhighways"? So, with that, is Chuck Norris still a bada**?...sure. A politician?...not so much.

Oh baby, Chuck is my hero!

Anybody heard about just how accommodating the Swift plants are to their illegals? I live in Amarillo, and there is a Swift plant north of here in Cactus, TX. After the first ICE raid at the plant (which many knew about before hand because most of the illegals scattered like roaches when you turn a light on before the raid happened) I started noticing these white buses driving around Ama. Well, turns out that since much of the population of Cactus was illegal, and they skipped town to hide out in the big city, Swift started a bus service to pick up their "employees," so now they have a free ride to and from work everyday (approx. 120 mile round trip).

Swift stated that they started the bus service because of a tornado that wiped out much of Cactus in the spring, which displaced its residents, however the buses began running before the tornado hit.

It must be very profitable to hire illegals if the Co. can afford to bus them to work everyday.

No wonder wages in Amarillo and the Panhandle are about 20% lower than the rest of the state.

Anybody feel like commandeering a few buses--and head straight for the border?

After the first ICE raid at the plant (which many knew about before hand because most of the illegals scattered like roaches when you turn a light on before the raid happened) I started noticing these white buses driving around Ama. Well, turns out that since much of the population of Cactus was illegal, and they skipped town to hide out in the big city, Swift started a bus service to pick up their “employees,” so now they have a free ride to and from work everyday (approx.

Anybody feel like commandeering a few buses–and head straight for the border?

"You don’t want to hear from me on this issue." But we have AP, we have, loud and clear. Chuck Norris is just the source to link when you're too chicken to cover, say, Jerome Corsi.

It's almost amazing that the Mexican nationals believe that this gov't will actually deport them, let alone cut off social services. Just because they may be bailing now doesn't mean they won't be back when HRC takes over and when the Nafta Superhighway can take them to AP's neighborhood as well as everyone else's.
Come to think of it, Mexico's immigration policy is something that our gov't should adopt, probably the only thing, but with better and less crowded jail conditions.

If she believes he’ll have a better life here with someone else raising him, than with her in Mexico, (with which I can’t argue) she’s doing the right thing by him as a parent. It’s about the only thing she doesn’t need to be ashamed about.

You assume that is what she believes. I don't. I believe she is using him as the pawn she intended when she had him. Cynic? Yes. Prove me wrong.

Jaime - I believe the problem starts at the FEDERAL level (not the state level) because the FEDERAL GOV’T betrays citizens by not enforcing FEDERAL immigration laws.

Yes, of course. But I thought the question from AP pointed to State/State relationships when faced with a lack of Federal action. Am I wrong?

Our country was founded on a philosophy of federalism not nationalism. The states were intended to always be supreme over the three branches. So, we, as citizens of our respective states, need to kick the collective butts of our legislators and take charge of our borders.
