Maybe the robber lost his nerve or maybe it was a fake gun and the clerk knew it.
In other words don’t bring a baseball bat to a gunfight unless you can strike meat on the first swing even if you have Kevlar undies on.

That clerk is luckier than he obviously can understand, that he’s not laying there moaning in a pool of his own blood. DUMB! For any of you other wannabe hero’s – just give ‘em the $50 in the register and pray you get to go home after – UNLESS you are carrying a pistol of your own! For your own sake, use some judgement!
