That’s awesome. And the Elaine reference made me literally lol.

Tanya on August 24, 2007 at 8:09 AM

I’d need a bigger room. I’d end up hitting whoever I was playing. lol

Kowboy on August 24, 2007 at 8:17 AM

Look at them legs! (whistle)

- The Cat

P.S. Michelle’s ain’t bad either.

MirCat on August 24, 2007 at 8:21 AM

Dammit, I was hoping to see a remote fly into the TV. Where’s the action, folks?

MadisonConservative on August 24, 2007 at 8:40 AM

That was great!

Laura02420 on August 24, 2007 at 8:42 AM

cute…

E L Frederick (Sniper One) on August 24, 2007 at 8:47 AM

After seeing that, I KNOW I WILL NEVER BUY A Wii. I already look like a dork, no need to enhance it with technology.

Sensei Ern on August 24, 2007 at 8:52 AM

Bryan! I can’t beleive you’d hit a girl! ;) You play for keeps brother.

I think now we know the real reason we’ve seen so few Vents this summer.

I echo MirCat’s sentiment: nice legs all around!

Malpaso on August 24, 2007 at 8:54 AM

Can the boxing program be set to have one player, to play against an automated opponent? If so, can the automated opponent be set to look like Bill, Algore, Hillary, Silky, Obama or Dean (Howard, not the hurricane)? (In which case, watch out for that left hook!)

Bigfoot on August 24, 2007 at 9:00 AM

Michelle, I hear this guy is looking for work. You should hire him. Impressive resume.

I do want to thank you guys for not charging us $50 to watch PPV. Take note, Don King and Bob Arum.

:))

thirteen28 on August 24, 2007 at 9:01 AM

Fun! How nice to take a break from politics.

tikvah on August 24, 2007 at 9:03 AM

Hahahaha, sweet fancy Moses.

Stankleberry on August 24, 2007 at 9:06 AM

you two should let AllahPundit play, for some reason i imagine him crying in the other room, because you two didnt want to play with him.

That’s an genuis idea! Theraputic!

flipflopper on August 24, 2007 at 9:17 AM

I can see the Wii is not for me. It looks like you’ve actually got to stand up to play some of those games.

Maxx on August 24, 2007 at 9:24 AM

I’ve been thinking of getting a Wii and this is the first time I’ve seen people playing. I’ll have to show it to the wife and maybe she will be persuaded it will be a good workout. To bad Wii doesn’t have a fencing game. She has been looking for something to help her with reaction times with her fencing.

jmarcure on August 24, 2007 at 9:25 AM

Great.

Proves real people do have real fun.

The left spend toooooo much time trying to get people to march in lockstep (last time I checked marching in lockstep was not considered exercising) to their drummer.

Another observation-the right exercise their minds and bodies, the left exorcise others minds. Now, that’s a bumper sticker.

Next time let’s have a golf match with Tiger caddying for Michael and VJ caddying for Bryan.

MSGTAS on August 24, 2007 at 9:31 AM

He floats like a butterfly, haha.

Spirit of 1776 on August 24, 2007 at 9:36 AM

Is it me, or does Michelle’s “Wii” character look a little too much like Rosie?

JetBoy on August 24, 2007 at 9:50 AM

Well I did ask for more Vents …

Perhaps it’s time to get Geraldo over for a match.

doufree on August 24, 2007 at 9:52 AM

JetBoy — that was the first thing I noticed when I saw the picture.

Eeekk….

Bryan was PWNED in tennis.

The Wii rocks.

Krydor on August 24, 2007 at 10:14 AM

Looks like fun. Still, when I’m playing video games I pefer to be a lifeless blog in my chair. :D

Yakko77 on August 24, 2007 at 10:25 AM

Bryon, you lucky SOB…you got to live every working man’s fantasy…you got to beat up your boss!

stonemeister on August 24, 2007 at 10:28 AM

Bryan, tisk, tisk, tisk… What kind of punches were those? You’re no supposed to beat your boss and certainly not by cheating! No bonus for you!

TheBigOldDog on August 24, 2007 at 10:30 AM

Michelle, you can block punches in Wii boxing by holding the controllers back to your chest. Took me a while to figure that out.

aengus on August 24, 2007 at 10:32 AM

Michelle and Bryan,

That was a fun Friday Vent. Keep up the good work.

Next time, upper cut! body blow! upper cut! body blow!

Nice way to serve up Aces!

ackrite55 on August 24, 2007 at 10:44 AM

uhhh, why don’t you guys provide a link to a Wii sales site and get a commission? Helluva advertisement.

I can’t wait to get one now!!

Fogpig on August 24, 2007 at 10:46 AM

I don’t have an iPod, Blackberry, Mac, iPhone or a Wii. Life is sooooooo good! Oh and all my bills get paid! I work fine without that stuff. Now where’s that book I was reading?

MNDavenotPC on August 24, 2007 at 10:56 AM

YAY VENT

I’m not much of a gamer, but that wii does look like fun. I’m also amazed at technology. I know it is old hat now, but it is amazing that you can do that with computer games and stuff.

Anyway, thanks for the vent, and Go MM! Bry you ain’t supposed to hit girls:)

ThackerAgency on August 24, 2007 at 10:58 AM

LOL…but sorry Michelle…you hit like a girl!

Careful Bryan, it my be concidered “by some” to be a case of virtual “Domestic Violance” for smacking around a women and then LOL about it…listen for the knock on your front door by the virual abuse dept. of the NOW gang.

Elaine dancing..oh that was harsh. Loved the boxing…if you’d put any Rocky III sound effects or music in there, I probably would have thrown up from laughing. Thanks for the behind the scenes look; missed you guys. Cheers.

austinnelly on August 24, 2007 at 11:11 AM

Geese, Michelle. You serve like a GIRL!

Mazztek on August 24, 2007 at 11:16 AM

jmarcure on August 24, 2007 at 9:25 AM

I think there is supposed to be some game coming out somewhere with fencing.

As for Wii Sports, Bowling is my favorite (I think I’ve gotten around ten 300′s, Red Star Ball FTW!), though I am decent at baseball.

Bad Candy on August 24, 2007 at 11:22 AM

Bryan, the reason you lost in tennis is because you were wearing those Jesus shoes.

saiga on August 24, 2007 at 11:24 AM

Wow, musta used her connections to get a Wii. A year later and you still can’t find one in any local store.

Neo on August 24, 2007 at 11:26 AM

Oh, and little trick in Tennis for the HA crew, if you hit the ball at its highest point when you throw it up to serve, it’ll do a super fast serve, you’ll know it when you see it.

Bad Candy on August 24, 2007 at 11:30 AM

Neo on August 24, 2007 at 11:26 AM

Not really, depends on the market, but you’ll see one or two on the shelves occasionally. Its not that hard. Of course, I waited for two hours in the cold before last christmas…totally worth it BTW.

Bad Candy on August 24, 2007 at 11:33 AM

I’ve never seen Allahpundit’s face. Why is he so mysteriously hidden from us?

HYTEAndy on August 24, 2007 at 11:47 AM

Bryan, your Mii looks like Ted Kaczynski.

Queasy on August 24, 2007 at 11:50 AM

Very entertaining. Nice editing.

dedalus on August 24, 2007 at 11:51 AM

As for Wii Sports, Bowling is my favorite
Bad Candy on August 24, 2007 at 11:22 AM

Without a doubt. The ‘power throw’ training is seriously fun.

And Michelle, dirty fighter! Look at you swinging, like 70% of time you’re swingin below the belt! I was laughing…Michelle playing with street rules…hope Bryan’s Mii was wearing a cup!

Schweggie on August 24, 2007 at 11:53 AM

…and the stick will be removed when???

Sammy316 on August 24, 2007 at 11:57 AM

I’ve never seen Allahpundit’s face. Why is he so mysteriously hidden from us?

HYTEAndy on August 24, 2007 at 11:47 AM

To hide the truth from us. He’s not human- he’s a blogging android.

Never leaves the house, doesn’t allow himself to be seen, blogs at a superhuman pace- is there any other explanation? I think not. His brain was directly wired to the ‘net, taking RSS feeds hardwired to his main processor and almost instantly posting them in a blog-friendly format.

Just don’t let him have an iPhone, or he/it will incorporate it into his cybernetic network and become much, much too powerful.

Hollowpoint on August 24, 2007 at 12:08 PM

Wow! What legs! Lberals can have Rosie!

Larraby on August 24, 2007 at 12:09 PM

LOL Hollowpoint. A blogging android. Yeah, basically…

Gotta love it…a sense of humor….fun!!

Makes you almost pity liberals….yea I am stereotyping…heh!!

MarkB on August 24, 2007 at 12:42 PM

Please allow me to prefect my next statement by saying how much I really love you guys, that said however you two manage to pack 100lbs of pure goofy into a 10lbs bag… :P

doriangrey on August 24, 2007 at 1:21 PM

Michelle, you need to listen to Mic “kill the body and the head will die.” Great legs though, are you sure you won’t reconsider letting us see you in a bikini?

srhoades on August 24, 2007 at 1:24 PM

JetBoy — that was the first thing I noticed when I saw the picture.

Eeekk….

EditoratIP on August 24, 2007 at 10:03 AM

Doesn’t it? Perhaps that’s what Bryan was thinking…”I’m punching out Rosie!”…when he threw that upper cut.

That avatar is definetly Rosie…

JetBoy on August 24, 2007 at 1:27 PM

And they say conservatives can’t have fun. That was great. I should convince my Mom to get a Wii instead of an Xbox 360. She wants the Xbox just for a Tiger Woods golfing game. If I can find a golfing game for Wii, that will be so much better. BTW, does anyone know if Wii has a Mario Bros game?

mram on August 24, 2007 at 1:28 PM

That is cool! good fam fun.

TheSitRep on August 24, 2007 at 1:36 PM

I’ve never seen Allahpundit’s face. Why is he so mysteriously hidden from us?

HYTEAndy on August 24, 2007 at 11:47 AM

A guy who calls himself “Allah” is probably hiding from those evil Christianists.

baldilocks on August 24, 2007 at 1:40 PM

Good fun. Thanks.

tgillian on August 24, 2007 at 1:46 PM

So glad to see a new Vent and a fun one at that!!!

terryannonline on August 24, 2007 at 1:46 PM

Yes, it does, but I’m not sure of the name of it.

mram on August 24, 2007 at 1:28 PM

There is golf in Wii Sports. I don’t know if there is a ‘serious’ golf sim out, but I wouldn’t be surprised if one is coming down the pike. There isn’t a Mario game yet, but there is supposed to be one coming out in November called Super Mario Galaxy.

Oh, and you can buy many of the old Mario games on the Wii Shop Channel. You can play Super Mario Sunshine, as the Wii is backwards compaticble with Gamecube games. The newest Super Smash Bros. might be coming out at the end of the year. There is also Paper Mario, which is an RPG, and I think Mario Party. You could go with WarioWare too.

Bad Candy on August 24, 2007 at 1:53 PM

The expanded version of this video will be one of the many reasons I’ll buy the Best of HotAir DVD, Volume 1 this Christmas.

ScottMcC on August 24, 2007 at 1:59 PM

Best. Vent. Ever.

madne0 on August 24, 2007 at 2:03 PM

My little 8 year old sister-in-law completely pwned five or six of us adults in a row at boxing.

You guys completely rock.

Viewtifulgare on August 24, 2007 at 2:05 PM

I love my job, but, Michelle and Bryan, you guys have the best jobs in the world. Thanks for sharing them with us!

Down boy…she’s happily married and there is really no reason to torture us single men.

doriangrey on August 24, 2007 at 3:13 PM

Wii would like to play too, y’all!

Great vent!

tickleddragon on August 24, 2007 at 3:39 PM

Crikey! Just when I was finally getting the controller actions down on my PS/2, now I’d have to throw in hand-eye coordination while standing up?

Great vent, though. Had to watch it twice, the second time to focus on something other than Michelle’s gams…

Spurius Ligustinus on August 24, 2007 at 3:43 PM

G

eese, Michelle. You serve like a GIRL!

Mazztek on August 24, 2007 at 11:16 AM

And hit like one too!

On-my-soap-box on August 24, 2007 at 4:15 PM

Mram: Like Bad Candy said, Super Mario Galaxy will be coming out in November, but if you can’t wait that long, I heartily recommend Super Paper Mario. Pure old-school gameplay with oodles of personality and heart.

That said, anyone else psyched for Metroid Prime 3? =D

ZK on August 24, 2007 at 6:38 PM

Bryan, you punch like a girl!

AZCON on August 24, 2007 at 6:42 PM

So Bryan beats women?

Tim Burton on August 24, 2007 at 7:15 PM

Sorry but that was Wii-tarded.

William Amos on August 24, 2007 at 9:15 PM

Reminded me of Billy Jean King and Bobby Riggs. Ok, which one of you is the most offended by that statement?

Ah, you kids are too young to remember that anyway.

conservnut on August 24, 2007 at 9:23 PM

Maybe you could invite Michael Moore over for a little Dance Dance Revolution.

Paul the American on August 25, 2007 at 3:11 PM

HILARIOUS!

D2Boston on August 26, 2007 at 12:49 AM

I’m gonna guess that was Bryans’ pad because Michelle made it a point to keep her arms from swinging into the wall, glass door, and Bryans’ face. Wii him, Michelle! Show him who’s boss! :o)

Coronagold on August 26, 2007 at 9:01 AM

Tennis and boxing OK you guys have at it while I sit here and get fat. The ole wranglers are getting kinda snug. Wii is cool. Lets introduce it into the United Nations and the Geneva Convention as the only recognized form of settling disputes among nations.

sonnyspats1 on August 26, 2007 at 2:30 PM

Bryan! I can’t believe you’d hit a girl!…

Malpaso on August 24, 2007 at 8:54 AM

In this case, I think that it’s probably okay though.
By the looks of it, Bryan hits likes a girl too.
