If anyone is to be accused of being a Freshman political science major, it would be a lefty moron who spends their entire life trying find indefensible things to defend. Go ahead, poll some freshman political science majors and see which side of the aisle they’re on, guy… they’re on yours. Who can count the douches they’ve known who didn’t care about politics, then followed the crowd in to political science class their freshman year, and suddenly they were Sean Penn for a semester (and often longer). I guess you missed where I said

When they pulled her column from the local paper (for the Edwards comment) I protested loudly to the owners…

So although I don’t care for her style I still will stand up for one’s right to be heard. Not sure how making an observation/opinion that she may be hurting the GOP more than she is helping is “clucking my tongue at you” but okay that’s your perception.
If you recall even Michelle Malkin was critical about her conduct at CPAC.

Hey, if not Geraldo, then maybe Kristen Powers? Or Bob Beckel? Or Greta. Or Chis Hitchens? Or almost anyone who can respond in an intellectually honest and substantive way to the issues at hand.

Kirsten Powers (who is gorgeous to look at by the way) is too much of a Henry Jackson/DLC type of Democrat to replace Colmes. Hitchens is hated by Hannity and they had a big fight over Hitchens’s remarks about the death of Jerry Falwell. In many ways Colmes is the perfect girlie man liberal.

Come now, must we always have this conversation? Ann is very nearly always right, and if you don’t start with that as a given, then the commentary in meaningless. You may not like the way she says things — obviously you do not — but her political judgement is exquisite.

And I imagine that her “self-respect” is perfectly healthy, too.
