(With a 60mm morter like he was using, which has a killing radious of about 50ft or so I’d bet the camera man is also resting his head in the lap of one of the 72 virgins promised him too.

Administration sources say that an Iranian spy ring was stealing plans from the Acme Toy and Munitions Company for various military hardware.
Acme’s Vice President in charge of Security refused comment, just saying certain explatives which were censored by the FCC with “Beep Beep”.

Reminds me of the time our convoy was hit in the rear by a suicide bomber. He blew up, but the bomb he planted did not. Thank GOD as it was a 155mm round and I am sure it was have made an awful mess.

The differance between us and them in combat.
When I was in Marine recon in Nam I was in the middle of a feirce firefight between us and those once upon a time bad guys.
The 60 mike mike morter crew was only a few feet from me putting down a steel wall between us and them. One of the mortors went into the tube but refused to come out.
Those guys put on their asbestos gloves and ever so slowly tipped the tube up on end as one of them caught the round before it slipped out of the tube.
Carrying the hot round in his hands, he slowing walked a few dozen feet away and tossed it over an embankment where it harmlessly exploded.
Saved all of us in the area.
Thank God for nerves of steel. Silver Stars for all of them.

I think it’s been a long time since any Iraqis have had “lines” to be behind while they fire. It’s likely everybody there including the cameraman was wiped out, so there were no Iraqis left to collect the tape. Whether it was a malfunction or counter-battery, our people would have been there within a matter of minutes and found the video.
