Audio: Ron Paul’s radio buddy melts down over neocons

It’s the one and only Alex Jones, Truther extraordinaire, administrator of the ultracrackpot Prison Planet site, and radio pipeline to the electorate for The Only Man Who Can Save America. It takes a few minutes to heat up but stick with it: you won’t hear a more hysterical indictment of neoconservatism anywhere this side of the Daily Dish.

Thanks as always to the ever vigilant dynamic duo at SLC.

Time to check that ALCOA stock . . .

What do you know ALCOA is up!

jdkchem on August 20, 2007 at 12:23 PM

Is there some kind of affirmative actionesque plan to hand out jobs to those people wandering the streets of NYC handing out pamphlets wearing full body signs that say; “the end is near”? This man has lost his mind. The more I listen to him the more I feel bad for him. It sounds very much like he’s schizophrenic. I have a feeling that if he doesn’t change his life soon, a heart attack is not far off.

Zetterson on August 20, 2007 at 12:24 PM

Oy.

Nichevo on August 20, 2007 at 12:31 PM

Please Alex…. take your medication. Something tells me this guy is a LEFTY pretending to be a RIGHTY. Or maybe he’s just nuts.

Maxx on August 20, 2007 at 12:33 PM

No way could I finish it.

SouthernDem on August 20, 2007 at 12:34 PM

I almost turned it off 1/2 way through….almost.

Can someone please post one of those ‘hundreds of articles’ outlining the murder plan? Inquiring minds want to know.

Limerick on August 20, 2007 at 12:35 PM

Wow. This guy is truly mentally ill. He totally sounds schizophrenic. He really needs help. It’s so sad. He won’t have a heart attack, he’ll kill himself and in his note he will probably reference some imagined government conspiracy that made him do it. I wouldn’t be surprised he has collections of his own urine hidden around his house and in the trunk of his car. I’m totally serious.

One poor showing in a straw poll and they come unglued.

Wow. Really. Just wow.

That’s truly frightening rage. I’ve never heard anything like that in a public forum. The paranoid delusions about gas chambers and Bush becoming the dictator of the world are crazy enough, but then he starts screaming about bashing heads into concrete and bloody chunks of flesh and even has a few minutes of purely inarticulate frenzy.

Well-Armed Lamb on August 20, 2007 at 12:50 PM

Change a few words and he’s suddenly a pro wrestler!

He describes himself as libertarian and paleo-con, at least if I’m to believe his Wikipedia entry. BTW, check out some of his films on Google Video.

mram on August 20, 2007 at 1:00 PM

I was wondering how all the RonPaul and Alex Jones sites keep getting on digg. Most of the post are complete and total lies. Someone crazy enough to believe this man has be insanely dedicated and determined to get the “truth” out. Including the “truth” about their Lord and Savior RonPaul. It’s really scary that the majority of this man’s audience supports a republican candidate.

Complete7 on August 20, 2007 at 1:10 PM

Well…that was interesting. I don’t know who I should be more concerned about, the people he is warning me of or him.

I kept expecting Vince McMahon to jump in to promote the one-time-only pay-per-view match-up between Alex “Crusher” Jones and “The Neocon Scum.”

drewas on August 20, 2007 at 1:32 PM

I wonder if “Alex Jones” is any relation to the late “Jim Jones,” another nutball that didn’t do the RIGHT any favors.

This guy really does sound like a parody.

What a friggin fruit-loop. he GROWLS like an animal for crying out loud.

Guardian on August 20, 2007 at 2:23 PM

When he says “New World Order” and “They…they…they…” and “foreigners ruling the country,” I’ll bet you 50 bucks he’s thinking “Jew! Joooooooo!” He just doesn’t want to say it, so the frustration of not being permitted to say it even rowls him up even more.

Hilts on August 20, 2007 at 3:20 PM

I fear for his sanity.

mjgreco on August 20, 2007 at 4:55 PM

and the sad thing is that a lot of the kids out here at the University of Arkansas listen to this guy and swallow everything he says hook line and sinker.

His verbiage reminds me of what the nazis used to say about the jews and what the Hutu said about the tutsis before the massacre in Rwanda.

Seriously, if people like him keep propagating that sort of stuff expect his listeners to do to us what he’s lying about people like me doing to him.

It’s simply a power trip to him, but to his listeners it’s real, and I hope no one has forgotten what a lot of them did during the 04 elections when many liberals attacked conservative campaign headquarters, voters, and campaign workers violently.

He’s advocating violence openly, and his listeners are buying it.

I just started the link and stopped after 30 seconds. White House operatives want Bush to be a world dictator, kill opposition at home, nuke the middle east and engage in mass genocide. Allah!!! You’re telling me this is going to get EVEN BETTER????

I’m going to grab a beer and I want a cigarette even though I don’t smoke. The rest must be GOLD!

Canadian Infidel on August 20, 2007 at 7:01 PM

Oh man, this is good. I want that cigarette.

I still have 5:35 to go.
PrisonPlanet.com mentioned. The top link at the site is “Establishment Media Ignores Ron Paul Straw Poll Success”

This is too great…

Canadian Infidel on August 20, 2007 at 7:08 PM

Holy cow. I’m glad I’m a Paleo-Con. If I were a ‘Neo-Con’ I’d be pretty scared of people like him and his listeners.

What an absolute nut.

One of the saddest things is that a few of the things he is ranting about are worth concern (Illegal Alien Invasion, etc.). But his completely unhinged rant works against ‘us’ more rational, reasonable people trying to make the rest of the Nation think seriously about some of the things he mentioned.

Jim Jones was a lefty Christian wanting to establish an agricultural utopia in the jungle, free from racism and based on socialist principles.

clghitis on August 20, 2007 at 7:17 PM

This is amazing!! I’m listening now. He may be wrong. I don’t think the good ole boys with guns in the back of the trucks are going to go home and run to mommy. Grabbing babies by their legs and bashing their brains out, vivid imagery. The retort, grab their heads and ram them into the concrete. Wow!

Allah, THAT WAS GOLD!! You start out with ‘White House operatives want Bush to be a world dictator, kill opposition at home, nuke the middle east and engage in mass genocide.’

You wonder how could that get better. It just did!!! Prisonplanet.com is on my list of favourites. That was incredible. Thank you.

Last note, the Preview button doesn’t give breaks between paragraphs.

Yeah I know, I wasn’t really serious, even though the do look a little alike. But this nut Alex is a Lefty too as far as I’m concerned, I mean Geee, he’s beating up on the Right not the left. What a nut.

Is this duy a Vince McMann wannabe?? LOL he isn’t schizo, he is totally manic and in need of a fix. I love how Ron Paul has such an exciting team of top of the bottom shelf workers on his campaign. Amazing how far we have gone since WWF days

bones47 on August 20, 2007 at 9:29 PM

What. An. Ass.

The best part, as always with these types, is his rant about how they “can’t stop” him from spreading the word, creating this false impression that anyone is trying to stand in his way. Look, guy, if your listenership consists solely of a bunch of alcoholic trailer park losers who refuse to take any responsibility for their lives, it’s not because someone is stopping the rest of us from hearing you… it’s because you’re an ass. I just can’t stand these people who act like there is some big opposition, when in reality most people just don’t care, and that is why they pull stunts like this, for attention. They’re furious that Rosie quit, right when they were going mainstream. It’s definitely not over for them, because this crap will be mainstreamed, mark my words, but that has been a blow for them.

RightWinged on August 20, 2007 at 9:41 PM

Translate it into German and it would sound exactly like one of Hitler’s frothy rants.

packsoldier on August 20, 2007 at 10:39 PM

Have some fun with this nut. Send him an email saying how great his routine was and how funny the whole gimmick is. Tell him that you think his site is better than The Onion and it is the perfect way to parody nut bag freaks. Then tell him how funny you think insane people gimmicks are particularly parodies of those nutty truthers. Give him advice; he might be over playing it bit–after all you thought it was real at first but, hell, nobody is that nuts. Crazy’s like him hate that kind of thing, it only makes them more angry.

I’ve had a few friends with mental illness and, seriously, doing this kind of thing, especially to their face, makes them go nuclear. Yes, I know that sounds mean but I didn’t know they were “crazy” when I did it.

Thanks,
Mike

Someone this insane must be selling something. I’d go look up what snake oil he’s peddling, but I don’t want to contribute to his hit count.

RINO_Hunter on August 21, 2007 at 1:43 PM

Alex Jones is a very sick person. It’s so obvious, it’s frightening that he has listeners/readers who take him seriously.

About the Ron Paul people (which includes Jones), I long ago suspected them to be Leftwing — certainly all Libertarians (which for the most part is essentially the same thing as Leftwing, but they like to call themselves “conservatives” instead).

But, their operations are one of subterfuge, just as Jones is promoting here, can be heard/read throughout everything he iterates: destruction based upon paranoia (so, yes, I agree he’s likely schizophrenic, certainly suffers from severe paranoia, among other problems).

Paul’s a Libertarian, his supporters are largely Leftwingers who are extremely far Left. They all share the same conspiracy theories, they all point hatefully at the United States and nearly everyone else in the U.S. (if you don’t adulate Paul, you’re on their hit list), and they all engage in the same coordinated hits upon others on the internet, at campaigns, on blogs, etc.

It’s been my experience that they can’t be reasoned with, can’t be interacted with UNLESS it is to participate in the plans they promote (if you don’t endorse Paul, you’re their enemy), that they can’t substantiate most of their negative claims other than by some weird ether they all understand but the rest of us are “too dumb” to perceive (the response by conspiracy theorists nearly always).

This video of Jones is very disturbing, mostly because it’s a mentally deranged individual acting out, who is so much in need of help but obviously is too paranoid to ever seek it out.

S on August 21, 2007 at 1:51 PM

RINO_Hunter on August 21, 2007 at 1:43 PM

Last election, the Prison Planet was among the heavily promoted sites by the Left. And the Paul people on their conspiracy sites (most of those sites all about 9/11 and how the U.S. as a nation is, as they allege, responsible for attacking ourselves) all hookup with DU, HuffPo and the routine Leftwing internet sites otherwise.

That Paul’s now running as a Republican candidate is more of their subterfuge: it’s an invasive tactic, given who supports him and how.
