Video: Michelle talks about the Newark case on Fox & Friends

posted at 10:17 am on August 16, 2007 by Bryan

The subject is illegal alien crime and the lack of will in Washington to deport criminal aliens or, indeed, anyone else who broke the law to get here. The segment begins with a discussion of the Newark case, which now has MS-13 connections in addition to the illegal alien connection, and moves on to a righteous and deserved slam on Geraldo Rivera’s on open borders.

They held Michelle on for two segments. Segment two gets into some of the policy and enforcement specifics. No one knows this issue better than the boss; she delivers a seminar in immigration non-enforcement in these segments.

Sanctuary cities are among the roots of this problem. They’re electromagnets for illegal aliens in that illegals know that once a sanctuary city is reached they’re home free; turn the magnets off and you turn off one of the single greatest attractors for illegal aliens.

I knew it, The Boss handed Geraldin-o his hat as only she can. I just love her. No bags under her eyes like she feared. Just awesome!

Geraldin-o is a tool!

On-my-soap-box on August 16, 2007 at 10:27 AM

Is there any way for the family members of the victims to sue these sanctuary cities?

JiangxiDad on August 16, 2007 at 10:33 AM

We’ll have the Ingraham audio.

You can get her interview with Howie Carr yesterdayhere if you don’t already have it. It’s the first featured audio link.

Good question JiangxiDad. After all, the cities are ignoring the law. I thought that there was something that Federal Funds were supposed to be cut off. I may be wrong.

In the meantime, here is a little jewel from the Chicago Sun-Times. It’s about a illegal immigrant hiding in a church for the last year. She plans to come out to attend some demonstration in DC. The reader polls for this article indicated that 83% think she should be arrested as soon is she is out of the church. The Feds knew she was in there but didn’t do anything.

The blood of these and others is all on the hands of cowardly politicians.

Did I hear that right? Michelle and Geraldo doing a hip-hop CD together? I trust that Michelle will be playing the keyboard parts.

Bryan-just saw your comment on the other thread, not sure if you’re still keeping up with it, so I thought I’d answer here. I’m doing well. I miss everyone at VBC, but I’m keeping busy. I leave for Israel on Monday. btw, did they put my blog address in the bulletin?

Debbie Schlussel reports that the border patrol union has sent a letter to the city of Newark re. the murders.

Dear City of Newark
August 10th, 2007

Posted in Border News

If your city officials had reported Mr. Carranzas as an illegal alien to DHS while he was in your jail for raping children, the three young people murdered by Mr. Carranzas would be alive. Other sanctuary cities pay heed, because it is only a matter of time until it happens to someone in your town.

No one knows this issue better than the boss

And by comparison, hearing how clueless most politicians are on the matter makes them sound dumb as a stump.

Where’s Janet Reno when you need her?

Theworldisnotenough on August 16, 2007 at 11:20 AM

Is anybody shocked about the MS-13 connection? The govt needs to label them a terrorist organization and give all cops a Shoot on Sight order.

Michelle is the voice of reason in a sea of insanity when Geral-doh is on. Geraldoh’s comments are infuriating and disgusting. I cannont stand him. He talks over Michelle, tries to degrade what she says, and treats her poorly. Fortunately, Michelle is a smart little firecracker who doesn’t let him get away with his bs. She can wipe the floor with him and usually does.

Oh that story was being covered on telemundo last night, the churches harboring illegals that is and a Catholic Bishop was giving an interview in Spanish.

Also the MS-13 angle was covered as well. Here’s what Newark PD has to say about that.

“Booker’s director of police, Garry McCarthy, says the immigration status of the suspects is “irrelevant.” He also is dismissing reports that the execution-style murders were related to the violent Central American gang, MS-13.”

We will se how irrelevant it is come election day. Illegals killing Blacks and liberals continuing to give safe harbor to said illegals will split the Black vote. First at the local level, then at the national level. The national level depends more on how the GOP plays up their resistance to amnesty and the Democrats outright support of it.

The Black vote splits at 90/10 Democrat/Republican. If the split were 70/30 on national elections Democrats could not stay in office. Here’s hoping the GOP is not so apathetic/stupid that they will pay attention to the Black vote and have enough gumballs to confront issues important to the Black community that Democrats give only sound bites but not solutions. Newt’s speeches on Global Warming have been awesome, lets see him crank one out about the world that works KIPP academies, and the world that fails NCLB.

Theworldisnotenough on August 16, 2007 at 11:29 AM

I was on the CPD (Chicago Police Dept.) 30 years ago, and Immigration then did not take illegals in custody. We wondered at the time what would happen if it persisted. Now we see the results. What can cities possibly gain by turning themselves into Tijuannas? Why would Pols want to ruin their cities and turn them into hovels for this trash? These are not doctors and engineers crossing the border illelgally. They are the trash of Mexico and the world. Granma always said ‘you reap what you sow’. Unfortunately, the situation may already be irreversibale. They made their bed now they can sleep in it.

re. MS13

In March I was a juror in an gang related murder trial– four MS13 accused of killing one rival gang member. Three “fled” the country, one we convicted. I always wondered how far they fled.

Sanctuary cities are among the roots of this problem

Exactly, and if the feds had any sense of duty to the constitution at all, they would pass a law banning federal funds of any kind to be distributed to these renegade “sanctuary cities”. Period.

Michelle, great job driving the point home to the morning crowd. I imagine you reached an audience segment that might not be around at 8PM time slot.

Zorro on August 16, 2007 at 12:59 PM

I always wonder what would have happened to this guy if he had been accused of these crimes in his home country.

shirgall on August 16, 2007 at 12:59 PM

I don’t understand why “congress” has to “take up” the “illegal immigration issue”. We have immigration laws on the books today. We merely have to demand of our politicians and law enforcement agencies that the current laws be enforced, strongly and immediately.

Is there any way for the family members of the victims to sue these sanctuary cities?

JiangxiDad on August 16, 2007 at 10:33 AM

Great question, Dad. A couple, three $50 million lawsuits might help the nitwits in our big cities to understand the issue more clearly.

Jaibones on August 16, 2007 at 4:19 PM

I am watching America go the way of Rome.
Every major city is building multi-million dollar sport complexes.
Out sourcing labor from slave states.
Importing hordes of Futbol fans.

Rome fail when it stopped defending it’s borders

Our citizens will soon wake up with nothing but a failed state.

If illegal is employed and hurts you or your family..can you put a civil lawsuit against employer for harboring and aiding and abetting a criminal fugitive. off to work I go be back latter
