You may want to reconsider that one. He seems like an ultimately cheerful sort, which seems GOP’ish, but there’s enough revolutionary boilerplate in his lyrics to lead one to suspect that he’s not quite ready for the GOP yet. Still, he could end up there ultimately, on the basis of temperament. Optimists must have a hard time sticking with the donkey these days.
