I made it very clear that foxnews WAS THE ONLY ONE who did, the other Major News Media didn’t bother… and FoxNews is NOT considered one of them for various reasons, but the main reason as it does not conform to the same PC b/s that is saturated in the MSN.

Fox is considered to be too right winged.. you should understand what that means since it is what you call yourself, and many folks don’t consider them to be a “reliable” source for news because of that stance. The major networks are too damned afraid to bring these things up because they fear the “R” word more than putting out the truth.

Only because immigration is such a hot topic now did they even mention it, which is a shame. And that is what I see Geraldo bringing up. The MSN doesn’t really give a damn that he is an illegal, but only because its a hot subject now they pick it up… thats hypocrisy to the fullest extent. And again this is what Geraldo is pointing out, at least this is what I can read from it.

I agree we should be outraged that another criminal illegal has been given walking papers to commit more criminal acts with, what seems to be our judges, politicians and cities blessing. But we have got to see the hypocrites for what they are as well. We need to also be outraged at the fact that our judges are letting these monsters back out on the street without finding out more about these bastards and holding them without bail!

The MSN is a political tool that jumps on a bandwagon only when they see they can make a buck selling a story, and it wasn’t a story until it was found out he was an illegal. They don’t really care about his illegal status, but only because it is a hot topic they report it. This sort of hypocrisy has got to stop.

I know Geraldo is against fighting for better immigration control and getting rid of sanctuary cities, and attacking illegals by better border protection, but we also have to do something about our judges as well, and this judge should be held accountable for letting this monster back out on the street, as well as any judge who has done the same in Ohio and other recent child rape cases.

And I think Geraldo needs to wake the **** up to reality and the security of this country, but I dont see that happening anytime soon, the same with Jessie Jackson and Sharpton. They are all political grandstanding racists in my opinion.

Gotta say, I still disagree. I heard about the story repeatedly on Fox, and Geraldo’s complaint about the hyping was only on cable news anyway. You think Katie Couric is pumping this story every night. Cable news covered it, and then it became a little bigger when the illegal angle was added, as it should have. The failed Shamnesty bill’s body isn’t even cold and there is a pattern going on here with deaths as a result of illegal aliens. I already laid it all out in my previous post, I think it’s just a matter of what outlets you go to and how much news you ingest in a day. Even today, with the illegal angle it hasn’t remained a huge story… mention here and there during headlines on cable news, a few commentators and bloggers who’ve adopted immigration as a pet issue… but it’s not like the big 3 and the NY Times were ignoring it, and suddenly it was revealed that he was an illegal and those dinosaurs and all the local papers in the country yelled “stop the presses!” so they could sneak the story on to the front page. It’s getting barely more play than it did pre-illegal angle, as the play now is minimal.

When Im talking about “everyone didn’t care” it was referring to the MSN and their lot (considering that is basically the topic), not the people of this nation because THEY OBVIOUSLY DIDN’T KNOW. And FoxNews is hardly EVERYONE, and is the only major outlet that did continue reporting it from day one.

The rest of the MSN which, by understanding does not include FoxNews (because many see them as rightwinged), didn’t give a rats ass about it until the information he is an illegal came out. Most of the nation does care but only when they have been informed, and most will not go out of their way to find out the truth to be honest, apathy has a very strong hold to the most of the people in this country.

The MSN doesn’t like to report too much on minority crime against good people because they are afraid of being cast as racist. FoxNews is the only major network that dare to step over that line, which I am very happy they do and is probably why MM and ilk sit in for Bill and go on their programs. The MSN wont touch them, or very rarely do and when they do, they still walk on eggshells about it.

And you are very right, Geraldo is pushing his personal agenda regarding illegals, but it doesn’t negate the fact of what is happening… hell even Bill admitted to the fact that NO ONE BOTHERED ABOUT THIS CASE UNTIL IT WAS KNOWN HE WAS AN ILLEGAL… Why the hell weren’t people kicking and screaming because he was let out on bail after raping a child!! That is what we need!! We need to get even madder at these judges who are not only letting illegals out on bail who rape kids, but they are releasing child rapists who are legal with only a few days in jail as punishment!! That issue is MORE important because if we keep these bastards, illegal or not, in jail, they can’t get out and hurt anyone else, especially children.

I am just as outraged that this bastard is a criminal illegal residing in this country but I am more outraged that our judges are letting them go. And as I said, Geraldo is a punk ass Neanderthal who is not worth watching or listening to, and most of what he spews out is garbage, but in my opinion, he is right about this one. The MSN should have been outraged from day one, not only because he is an illegal but because he is a child rapist released on a reduced bail, where many like him who are legal citizens of this country are getting the same benefits from judges from all over this nation.

I disagree. First, just because the MSM didn’t stay on top of this story until Carranza was identified as being illegal, hardly equates that the nation didn’t care. The “nation” cares about a lot of stories that the MSM ignores.

Most importantly, it’s apparent by Geraldo’s ignorant comment that he doesn’t watch FoxNews because I saw this being covered daily before Carranza was ever known. I recall several stories and the question being “who could have done this?”

Geraldo is dishonest, because he is pushing a “personal” agenda on illegals.

it wasn’t that big of news in the media until the illegal aspect information got published. That is what I am on about. I am very well aware of the other story and many others that don’t get notice by major media outlets such as many other black on white crimes that seem to go unnoticed or “no one cares” because they are white victims. Maybe you forgot about (or never heard of)the killing in Wilkinsburg where a black man went on a shooting spree killing only whites because they were white, or the other Killeen TX murders of a white couple… I could go on all day about them.

I understand his outrage that this POS got his bail reduced and freed after he raped a 5 year old kid. I think I am more outraged at that fact than that the guy was an illegal in this case, as this seems to be the fav of the month with judges letting child sex offenders out with a slap on the wrist or in many cases lately no slap at all.

Though we definitely need to get harder on illegals, especially criminal illegals (I say shoot them at the border for invasion), we need to get even harder on judges who let these guys go including the INS/ICE, politicians who support them being here, employers who hire them and so on. No gravy train = No illegals.

Bill was on about just putting this guy in prison for the rest of his life, I say we hang the POS and be done with it, he doesn’t deserve life, especially one up here in the states.

People like Geraldo won’t get it until illegals move in next door packing five or more families into one house. Cars and vans parked in the yard and trash piling up, along with drunken weekend parties. Or until the neighbor shops close due to gang violence and are replaced with Spanish only stores. Or when his wife tries to get gas and is accosted by someone speaking Spanish and blocking her way. Or when violence and murders triple in your little neighborhood area, then perhaps Geraldo will get it, when it finally impacts him where he lives.
