This is what happens when traffic lags, people. No links = more tabloid. We can run the same drill every day if you like.
Anyone recognize the t-shirt, incidentally? I do.
Update: “CORRECT SIR.”

No worries. The save the whales types will be along soon and they’ll all band together to push Moby Dyke back in the water.
Kowboy on August 13, 2007 at 8:44 PM
I finally figured out what that is in the back of that boat http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sperm_whale
Joey1974 on August 13, 2007 at 8:52 PM
Oh, that’s good. Can I borrow that one?

I’m looking at the photo of Rosie and her “daughter” and thinking:
WOODY & SOON-YI
Sorry, can’t help it …
Ali-Bubba on August 13, 2007 at 8:58 PM
Feel free. It came to me with the comment that mentioned Ishmael. I thought it was appropriate. lol

You were actually able to look at that picture long enough to read anything on her shirt? I started getting dizzy and nauseous after about 3 seconds……

SilverStar830 on August 13, 2007 at 9:34 PM
I thought for a second it was some sort of science piece on how they’d managed to graft arms and legs onto a bowling ball.
Kowboy on August 13, 2007 at 9:35 PM
What’s Michael Moore doing with Rosie’s kid?

Where are the finger holes?
Oh geez….never mind!
SouthernPride on August 13, 2007 at 9:37 PM
Now THAT made me throw up a little. lol
Kowboy on August 13, 2007 at 9:38 PM
The whale jokes were too easy. I’m thinking “oil spill.” Black, filthy, oozes and flows as it moves and tends to kill everything in its wake.
JinxMcHue on August 13, 2007 at 9:51 PM
Me too……….Correction a lot!
conservnut on August 13, 2007 at 9:52 PM
Go check out the Matthews blog and see what I wrote AP after admitting he’s “had a few.”
SouthernPride on August 13, 2007 at 9:57 PM
Ugh! Need new eyes.
rockdalian on August 13, 2007 at 10:00 PM
AP! You magnificent bastard!
I was entrapped, your honor, entrapped I say.
Now, pardon me while I drink until that picture is erased from my mind.
BacaDog on August 13, 2007 at 10:23 PM
I guess I didn’t need my retinas anyway.
soundingboard on August 13, 2007 at 10:28 PM
Not enuff likker in the world!
Maybe some Georgia white lightnin’ distilled thru an old radiator.
soundingboard on August 13, 2007 at 10:29 PM
BTW…Re: Ro’s t-shirt.
Doesn’t she know Dubya’s gonna cancel the election?
It must be true, I read it at The Daily Kos.
And we all know progressives never lie.
soundingboard on August 13, 2007 at 10:31 PM
I think they ought to call child services, the kid’s mother left her on a boat with a whale that jumped aboard.
StuLongIsland on August 13, 2007 at 10:36 PM
Wonder if she’s talked to Pillsbury about becoming the next Doughgirl. Isn’t it sexist to have only a Doughboy and no Doughgirl? If anyone, she’s the one who could work this to her advantage.
Lawrence on August 13, 2007 at 11:11 PM
Are you kidding? I couldn’t look long enough to see what it said.
How long was it before green peace showed up?

Just thinking; did rosie gain a few more pound after leaving the view, or did they hide it better with the camera angles?
Gwillie on August 14, 2007 at 1:24 AM
Man, check out the carbon footprints on that one.
Mojave Mark on August 14, 2007 at 1:45 AM
You have to provide a recovery picture like I did on my blog This is important you must post one in an update asap.
Gwillie on August 14, 2007 at 1:58 AM
I outsmarted you on this one Allah, I read the URL first, saw rosies-wet-tshirt-contest, sat back and thought long and hard about whether this was really worth it and decided it wasn’t. Today’s my day off, why spoil it?
Aylios on August 14, 2007 at 1:58 AM
Hey! You work out?
Speakup on August 14, 2007 at 2:06 AM
“That’s no moon… It’s a space station!”
If I had a dollar for every involuntary gag reflex that picture provoked, I’d be able to buy one of those wire brush attachments for my power drill so that I could get the taste out of my eyes.
Immolate on August 14, 2007 at 7:40 AM
So disgusting, the shark spit her back onto the boat.

Some things were never meant to be seen by the eyes of mortal man. This is right up there at the top of the list.
pilamaye on August 14, 2007 at 8:19 AM
You fucker…that was a cold-hearted ambush
I need to sandpaper my eyeballs
Ochlan on August 14, 2007 at 9:48 AM
I admit it. I’d hit that, with a heavily-insure Kenworth.

“IF”, and I repeat “IF”, a democrat wins the White House; “GOD” forebid a major attack occurs somewhere in the USA ??? It will be a hundred years, at least, before a democrat, any democrat, has a chance to win a seat in the House, the Senate and/or the White House.

Relaying a message from Shamu. “And stay out!”

The comments at the link are rather humorous. The rosie detractors are mostly articulate, accurate and literate whereas the rosie supporters are mostly bed-wetters, factual inaccurate and beyond the help of any spell checker. It is very similar to comparing HotAir and MM comments to dKos comments.

NESSIE, Nessie is REAL.
Wonder if all the sea monsters are real?
