Point of information: The style in which this poetry is delivered is called Slam, as noted by Allah in the Headline. Despite its similarities poetry slam is unique in many ways. There are many slam poets from diverse backgrounds who write and perform poems about various facets of life. I've heard hundreds of slam poets and thousands of rap tracks. I've been to hundreds of live music events in my short life. This is a triumph! I have never been so thoroughly moved by art ever. I've heard stuff that sounded better, and I still have my favorite artists. But this is the first time someone has connected the words, feelings and passion that wells up in me when I think about how much I love this nation. I was hoping to find this up on HA. Thank you.
