Kos is pathetic. Screw him. I think I threw up a little bit in my mouth watching that…

With that being said, Ford is usually a reasonable democrat. I guess it was just his turn to “kiss the ring” and kneel at the feet of the might Kos. At least I now see why he is so big and bad behind the keyboard… he’s a geek.

As for DKos… they are one big groupthink echo chamber with the few people who dissent are troll rated and banned, not to mention personally attacked viscously. They are high on the list of reasons I have a hard time considering ever voting for a democrat again.

A few things about Ford:

He is a member of the most corrupt political family in Tennessee. He has a lot of relatives in the Tennessee state legislature who are under criminal investigation. This is the reason why he lost the Senate race to Corker. (Not because the DNC couldn’t use anti-Bush sentiment to propel Ford.) The people of East Tennessee aren’t stupid.

His Southern accent is fake! It was a bad impression of Jesse Jackson. Will Ferrell did a better Jesse on Saturday Night Live.

As a side note, Markos sets off my gaydar, which is never wrong. He’s a liberal, what’s he afraid of? (Is he a Scientologist?)

Harold Ford is way too smooth and likeable. If he gets himself elected governor of Tennessee (I’ve heard that rumor)he will be a formidable presidential candidate someday. I’ve heard he actually does lean center right on alot of stuff and the republicans in Tennessee have tried to talk him into switching sides but his family roots go too deep in the democrat party there. He’s going to be someone to deal with in the future.

I think you may be on to something. Hunter S. Thompson (brilliant writer despite the insanity) said in 1962 that Reagan would one day be President.
